The hotel is close to the Metro Station (NOMA) and it was easy to get to Dupont Circle and the Washington Monument. There are dining options (fast food, breakfast and dinner) available within walking distance from the hotel. Union Market is about a 10 minute walk away. Valet parking was expensive ($50 tax). The hotel room and property are clean. The design of our room was poor. We had a King bed with a sofa bed and to fit these both in, the bed was turned to the side to face the window so that we were watching tv at an angle (instead of facing the tv). The room is not big enough for a King bed and sofa bed. To fit both, the bed should have been smaller. There is a microwave and small fridge in the room which is convenient. There are vagrants that come by outside the hotel at night and some approached us for spare change - something to be aware of. Overall we did enjoy our stay at the hotel.

The entrance was 20 right next to the metro station which made getting around the city very convenient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Young gentleman (African-American) at the front door (1st floor) was absolutely great. Very welcoming and full of energy. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Found the property to be very accommodating and the staff to be friendly and helpful. The area outside of the establishment was a little less desirable, there was alot of loitering and men hanging around smoking and carrying on. I wouldn't recommend the property to any single women but I would recommend to larger groups. I did appreciate all the amenities.

Safe area many food options within walking distance metro down the street clean room friendly helpful staff 5th floor ice machine was broken thermostat in room didn't work at one point it said 92 and there's no way we would have stayed in a room that hot but room was never as cool as we would have liked

The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was very clean. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. The hotel is a few steps away from the Metro which made it very convenient to get around the city. I would gladly stay here again and/or recommend it to others.

Love the fact it was close to the Metro and therefore easy to get to The Mall area. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only downfall was I don't like Starbucks coffee, but there was a Dunkin nearby. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Our family had a nice weekend getaway. I strongly recommend using the valet parking or parking elsewhere and taking the metro. The NoMa-Gallaudet stop is right where the hotel is. Comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was great except for one crazy thing. The mini fridge in the room shuts off every 2 hours to conserve energy. I have medication that needs to be kept cool and this was a problem for me. The staff said they couldn’t do anything about it and I just had to keep turning the fridge back on every two hours.

Checking was difficult and we had to return to the front desk as we’d booked a room with 2 beds, then got a room with 1 bed which couldn’t have worked for our family. Shower was underwhelming as it never got hot, but the room was clean and staff friendly.
