"Affordable base."
I have a busy agenda every time i come to Fiji so Wailoaloa Beach Resort was perfect. A great place to set up base and head out for what you need to do. Cheap, clean, spacious & comfy rooms. Quiet at night (which is what I wanted) but close to the action if that's what you are after. At the rate it was when I booked it back in Australia I didn't have high expectations but once I arrived it proved to be well worth the money. It is very close to the airport runway which would explain the rate compared to other hotels but the planes only come through every 2 hours, about 5 a day. Staff are very friendly and approachable and will accommodate you with what you need. Food is very cheap also. I wouldn't recommend if you were looking for that romantic holiday with white sand and crystal blue water you see on the TV but if you looking to travel on the cheap this is the place.

"Jetset Accomodations!"
We just needed one night in Nadi before moving to the coral coast so I decided to try Jetset Accomodations. We were very pleased! it was a clean room about 1 block from the beach and still near the airport. Reasonable cost for the city. Friendly staff. Our breakfast was homecooked and tasty. Comfortable bed and within driving (not walking) distance of good restaurants. would suggest getting GOOD advance directions to the hotel since it is well off main roads and hard to find.

"Get what you pay for"
Started off bad as my name was not on airport pickup list, yet I confirmed three days in advance. Booked a week's holiday here with a twin room for myself, but got overbooked the first two days, so had to change rooms which is quite annoying. I did get an upgrade for those two nights with my own bathroom, however the tap was leaking non-stop, so very annoying to try and sleep. Also the curtains in that room were like shower curtains and let through tons of light. If you like hot showers I suggest you take a private room since the dorms only have cold water. My room also never got cleaned during my stay, even though I left my key at the reception numerous times when I went out for the day. There is free wifi, but because they do not password-protect it, everyone in the hotels next door uses it too which makes it extremely slow and hard to connect too, which is quite frustrating. I know this all doesn't sound too good but here comes the good stuff: The staff, the entertainment and especially the restaurant! Prices at the bar/restaurant are not exaggerated and the quality of the food is very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and a lot of activities get organised during the day so you won't get bored. Also love the hammocks! I had a good holiday at Bamboo!

"One word. Hospitality."
Wow!!! I had an amazing experience here at bamboo. I honestly cannot say enough good things. Starting with the pickup at the airport. I was just a wondering, American girl not knowing what to do or where to go with my 5 overstuffed suitcases. I was en route to move to Australia and had an overnight layover in Nadi. A nice youn man picked up ALL my luggage- of course giving me a hard time about it, and drove me to my hotel. When I was dropped off the front desk staff were superb and took all my luggage to my room. After being there for 5 seconds, the same staff invited me to go outside and sing, drink, and enjoy all the other travelers and locals. Wow, what a fun experience! Locals were playing guitar and feeding me some "root drink" that makes your senses go wild lol. It was a blast. I was super tired and needed to sleep so I ducked into my room. Clean, large, comfortable. I was only there for a few hours and I was already wishing I had extended my stay. The next mornjg I needed to be at the airport super early- and of course, the front desk staff had a cab waiting for me. I honestly wish I would have stayed there for 3 days! Definitely made me feel at home. Will come back !
