Fabulous getaway
The property owner felt like a longtime friend by the time our weekend was over. Super nice & welcoming. The place was perfect for what we needed. The shower was a little small but thats just bc we needed more. Its perfect for a small family stay. Thank you for allowing us to be there. You are awesome!

Work stay
I was in the area for work and was tired of paying for hotels without necessary amenities for an extended stay. This place was super easy to check into and when I did check in it was super clean and the perfect size for my fiancée and I. Definitely good for two people who want to be close to the beach and have a cozy spot to stay. The only one issue for me was that you can hear every footstep from the renters in the unit upstairs which can get annoying but overall I’d stay here again!

The bed and couch are uncomfortable and the bathroom is a bad DIY. The shower is bizarrely situated and the moldy extra-long shower curtain only makes it worse. Location is ok

Quiet & clean studio with residential beach
This was perfect for what we were looking for. Quiet residential neighborhood away from the boardwalk and crowds. The beach is literally a block away and it was not crowded. Dog friendly too. The studio apartment has everything you will need and is very clean. It sleeps 4 people on a full bed and a queen sized sofa sleeper. You can purchase some groceries to cook in the kitchen or go out to local restaurants that are in walking distance. Washer and dryer is available. The host Svetlin communicates very quickly and can answer any questions. 5 stars. I highly recommend this location. I will definitely go back for our next beach get away.

Not every property should be a rental property.
Not every property should be a rental property. I'm sure the owner would enjoy staying at this property, aware of its shortcomings, but for a renter this place comes with too many discomforts to make it enjoyable. I'll list a few, but this is not the full list. First, the fridge makes a very loud mechanical noise. Twice it woke us up with a terrible noise like someone howling in pain. It was so intolerable that we had to unplug it. The couch material was a plastic-like leather. Sitting on it for 5 minutes will make your skin sweat (and make you wonder about all the sweat that came before yours). Speaking of sweating, there was a mattress cover on the bed which was also plastic. After waking up drenched in sweat we decided to take it off. The storm door wouldn't close. We could visibly tell that this wasn't a new issue by the rust in the hardware from when others tried to force it closed. Thank God we had pliers and were able to remove it. Finally, the shower was super tiny. It also had no walls, so a very long shower liner was hung to try and contain over spray. The combination of confined space and trying to maneuver my body around the expansive liner made me feel like I was about to suffocate in, you guessed it, plastic! With improvements, this could be a quaint studio, but in it's current state it just wasn't a comfortable stay.

My brother had a condo in the neighborhood, but it didn’t allow pets. We rented this place for my parents with their little dog. It was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils etc and it was spacious enough for the whole group of us to cook and eat together! Close to the beach and some good restaurants.

The pictures don't do this property justice. It's awesome. There are wonderful touches that make this cozy property a stand out including feather comforters, nice sheets, a fantastic full kitchen and owner provided laundry detergent. The owner has thought of everything (except a hair dryer- I forgot mine LOL) and we will make this our go to rental from now on. Thank you, Svetlin!

Very nice, but need to address parking space
Nice little space that is well-appointed with modernized counters, shelves, fixtures, etc. When arrived, space immediately adjacent to apt was taken, so parked in the one next to that. Turned out to be someone else's space and not sure why #1 was taken at the time. We could have used more info on allowed parking space. Recommend bring ground coffee for coffee-maker. Shower a bit awkward as head could not be adjusted downward and had to have shower curtain closed while heating to avoid spraying of floor. Owner very pleasant and location good, with short walk to beach and a couple of excellent local cafes/restaurants. Recommend keep your dog away from the next door neighbors rock-filled side yard, as offense will be taken!!

This was a great location and we really enjoyed the Condo. The beach is so close. Only problem was a the neighbor had a contractor who dropped nails & screws all over the parking lot we had 2 to clean each Day as not to get a flat tire.

Beach studio apartment
Perfect location with 2 blocks from a public beach access. Dog friendly and the perfect size for me and my husband. Also within walking distance from lots of dog friendly restaurants. In a great area that isn’t as busy and more low-key.

Great getaway
I love that the apartment was renovated and everything was new and modern. Huge TV, great appliances (except the fridge, which was efficient), Dyson vacuum cleaner. Everything was supplied - from toilet paper and towels, to plates, pots and pans. Just bring your own toothbrush and swimsuit, and you're good to go. The fact that the beach is really close is great, and it's a bonus for me that it's not the main one. I prefer less crowded places, especially nowadays. The host is quick to respond to questions and queries. Overall a great place for a couple of people. My son and I enjoyed it for a week and had a great time. Highly recommend!

Property was nice and clean. Owner was very responsive. Property should be advertised as a studio apartment not a one bedroom condo. The bed is a full size bed and the pull out couch is the queen bed. Nice neighborhood, off street parking, close to the beach.

The location of the property was great really close to the beach and the stretch of beach was not over crowded like the beach at the boardwalk. The only complaints that I would have are that the mattress is really bad and aesthetically there were a lot of things in the property that needed attention. Other than that it was overall a good stay

cozy beach getaway
My partner and I stayed here with our dog and had a lovely time. The studio condo was very spacious, extremely clean, and we really appreciated having the ability to cook some of our meals and wash clothes when needed and the AC to escape the heat. Checkin and Checkout was painless and the both the location and the neighborhood were very inviting. The only thing I'll note was the bed wasn't the most comfortable (especially for my partner who has back problems), but doable for a couple days. The beach is really close by and isn't crowded at all the way the Ocean Front is. You can take your dog there all day, and even off leash before 10am and after 6pm. There were two chairs and an umbrella for use in the condo, which we were pleasantly surprised to find! First Landing State Park is just down the road and has great trails for exploring the lagoons. There was no shortage of dog friendly restaurants close by. Just around the corner is CP Shuckers, which has a raw bar (which I love), a great menu, and let's your dog sit right next to you on the benches at the tables if you want. Svetlin was quick to answer questions, professional, and very helpful. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Nice little studio
This was a very clean studio apartment - it's not a 1 bedroom, there is only one large room with kitchen, sofa, and bed. The patio is right up against the back of a restaurant/bar and also where all the AC compressors are, so it's a loud and not really pleasant area. However, the walk to the beach is short and it's a lovely local beach on the bay, plus there are two camp chairs and an umbrella to use. The property is immaculately clean and reasonably well appointed if a bit spartan. Svetlin was very responsive and helpful.

Great place for a quiet beach vacation
My girlfriend, dog and I loved the condo by the beach. The place itself is a comfortably sized studio apartment. The kitchen was my favorite part and it had a ton of counter space and even a toaster oven. The other part I really liked about it was that there was a ton of shelving that made it easy to stay organized and not lose things as we moved in for a week. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was extremely helpful as well. Hands down, the best part was being so close to the beach. The public access beach trail was maybe two blocks away at most, so we could carry all of our things out and not have to go far. In the week we were there, it was never once super crowded. It was very dog friendly and there wasn't a time where we didn't see another dog on the beach. The neighborhood was very welcoming. In the week that we were there we met a ton of locals, and it felt like there were hardly any other vacationers from out of town. It made us feel like we were really part of the Chick's beach community. We tried out all of the local restaurants, and there are a good amount within flip-flop walking distance. We enjoyed Simple Eats. There was also a great brewery down the road called Pleasure House Brewery which had really great craft beer. Loved the place, loved the neighborhood, and loved our trip. Svetlin was very responsive to our questions and you can tell he put a lot of time and effort into turning this apartment into a relaxing beach getaway.

Sean, Thanks for the review, it's always great to get some feedback and know what I need to work on to make my guests' stay better. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and welcome you to visit again. Regarding the air conditioner, I did plan on putting one but got deployed and run out of time. As you mentioned the place is generally nice and cool and I assumed the ceiling fan would be sufficient. I'm planning to put a new air conditioner when I make it back.
