Comfortable and large room with easy to use temperature controls. Hotel is ideally located for exploring the city as stops trains, subway, trams and buses can all be found within short walking distance.

The hotel is right across from the train station. Public transportation is so easy in Vienna and the access to it from Mooons makes the location great. The rooms are so much fun with their big round windows. I love the theme of the hotel. Breakfast was okay. It's included so that is a big plus, but some of the hot food wasn't too great. I loved the filled donuts though! Yum!

We loved that this hotel was right across the street from the train station but our favorite part of the hotel was the friendly staff. There was a bartender working named Sven from Hamburg who really helped make our stay at Mooons stand out.

This hotel is a feast for the eyes, especially if you're an art lover or someone who appreciates a fun, colorful post-modern theme. The lounge area had plenty of seating with a yellow chair I wish I could of brought back with me, so comfortable. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. I didn't have enough time to checkout the outdoor restaurant on the rooftop due to how late I stayed out in the city but it did look to have a nice view. The Birthday treat was an unexpected but very welcomed gift. The City View room had on the 8th floor was perfect. Some might mention the small size of the room, but for anyone exploring the city solo or as a duo, how much time do you need for an overly spacious room. I found it to be perfect for my needs and once more the theme, decor, coloring for the time was in the hotel just made my final days in Wien a delight to wind the day down in. Since I did a split trip with multiple hotels, I made this one my final hotel due to it's walkable location to the train station that goes directly to the airport which was super convenient. Nearby stations for both the Tram line and the U Bahn with a short walk made getting around the city a breeze. I don't know when I can return to Wien, but this will be a hotel I stay at and recommend highly. Vielen danke once more to the staff for that Birthday welcome, it really was an appreciated gesture of kindness.

Very close to the train station. The room is missing some items such as hair conditioner and a telephone in the room to communicate with reception. I had to go down three times from the seventh floor to be able to communicate with reception while I was sick with a fever. If they had a telephone they would have saved me the inconvenience.

We stayed at Mooons for 5 nights in May. This boutique hotel offered gorgeous views of Vienna from their circular windows and from the rooftop bar. Rooms were clean and the amenities were just right. The hotel is situated across from the main train station making it the perfect choice for travellers who plan to use Vienna as a hub for their travels within Austria or for those who prefer to stay outside the hustle and bustle of the main city. Getting to and from the main city sights is a 20 minute walk away or by taking the nearby U1 train I would highly recommend this hotel especially for those planning tours or days starting early/ending late. Given that it's situated across the train station finding places to eat (especially after 8pm) is much easier than in the core of Vienna.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. What made the room awesome was the view of the city. The breakfast buffet was not the best. I don’t recommend it if you want great breakfast. It was a vegan breakfast but you can order a small meat plate from the servers there. But it’s just deli meats. 😫 The huge plus for us was its right by their huge train station. There’s some dining and tons of little shops for last minute gifts. I would recommend the hotel because it was convinced to the train station.

Everyone here was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very close to the main station and the Belvedere and a pleasant walk into the city centre. A lot of thought has been put into the design of the hotel and the food provided - we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to come again.

This hotel has a moon landing theme, which is reflected not only from the exterior building design, but everywhere, from the elevator, the hallway, the lamp, the moon shaped bay window, even the "do not disturb" sign. Very very cool. Also very clean and well organized. The location is also close to the main train station, easy to go to airport or other place via public transportation. Will recommend to all my friends staying in Vienna.

What a unique hotel! We absolutely loved the moooons theme, with carefully thought out special details throughout the hotel and rooms. Staff were friendly, kind, approachable and helpful. All minor questions or issues we had were instantly resolved. The location is fantastic, perfect for exploring Vienna. The room was comfortable, modern, clean and well equipped. The window seat was such a lovely feature. The staff went above and beyond for our anniversary, even putting in chocolate truffles with a thoughtful hand written note. Roof bar was closed for our visit which was a shame given the good weather but understandable given the time of year (mid April). Breakfast is delicious! So many options and freshly prepared. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if and when we return to this wonderful city.

A stylish and friendly hotel in a good location - virtually opposite the main railway station and the U-bahn (underground trains). The Belvedere district is walking distance and the historic centre is just a couple of stops away on the U-bahn or tram (I recommend the tram on a nice day). The rooms are big with lovely oval windows.

Very pleasant stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel parking is 28 euro per day, very convenient.

Friendly staff and close to metro and train station. Loved the welcome drinks and free water in the room. Also the circle window in the room overlooking the city is a great touch.
