Their entire staff quit and instead of informing us, we arrived at the hotel for check in to find a note on the door stating that the hotel was closed. We had to re-book at the last minute, and despite being promised a refund by Expedia, I have yet to see the money given back to me. For an entire staff to quit an employer must be treating them truly terribly. I would not ever recommend endorsing this by giving Carat Hotels any money whatsoever. Find another place to stay that is not owned by this hotel group.

We arrived to a note on the door saying due to the complete failure of staff, they were closed indefinitely. No notice. We flew to Vienna from the US. Not impressed.

Got to room had no shower curtain and bathroom was old they were nice to move us rooms the room smelled like cigarettes and wasn’t the cleanest but the BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING and staff were very polite and respectful

Comfy beds, far too hot, no a/c and tiny shower
The hotel is a good choice to avoid all the expensive inner city hotels. It was a 20/25 min easy walk to the centre or there is a tram stop nearby The beds were comfy (twin room) however it was 24 degrees with no air conditioning and only a basic floor standing fan so it was unbearably hot The shower was also incredibly small. I am 5ft 2 and a slim build and found the shower too small so if you’re anything bigger or taller than me then it would be a struggle! Breakfast was a very good spread with plenty of options - eggs, cereals, fruit, breads, ham and cheeses

Great breakfast
Decent hotel in central location , 3d district with Underground parking . Fabulous staff , especially the main lady at the breakfast buffet . She went out of her way to make all the guests happy , even offered to bring food to late guests well after breakfast time was finished . My room was quite dark and too warm , bathroom tiny , bed was ok( ish) Housekeeping should get a grip as the room was very very dusty and needs a good clean .

I definitely will stay here again!
I definitely will stay here again! The room was clean, there was always someone at the front desk and breakfast was good. The only thing is, that the staff is looking at you at the breakfast all the time, that is kind of uncomfortable. but I highly recommend it!

Shampooing and conditionner was really good. Breakfast was amazing. Room was hot, they gave us a fan that was full of dust. In the morning water was leaking through the bathroom ceiling. Water was also leaking through the ceiling in the reception.

The hotel room was okay. It was hot that day and they had a portable air conditioner in the room which was good. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The smoke detector was hanging down which made my daughter nervous. The free buffet breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast room was themed like a cabin in the mountains. The staff were also have attentive and polite at the front desk and in the breakfast room. For what I paid it was a fantastic deal.

I had a good stay. The hotel staff were very helpful once I got there. My trip had been put back a day and this had proved difficult prior to the trip. However, once I was there everyone was very helpful and my stay went well.

Nice hotel with good breakfast. Located 5-10 min walk to train station with Chemist & Supermarket 1 min walk. The rooms are a bit small but very clean & beds comfortable. No air conditioner and Vienna was having a heatwave so we sweltered for first 2 nights. Technician assisted with opening windows right up & provided fans - he was extremely helpful. Front reception staff - were okay.

The staff (Phillip and Ena) were extremely helpful in rectifying a minor situation, which was NOT the fault of the hotel. Very good breakfast. Not much to do in the immediate area, but SBahn 71 will get you to where you need to be. Recommend asking for a room in the x01-x05 range, as they aren’t on the street side (less noise) and get less direct sunlight (there’s no A/C, but each room has a fan). Also, no kettle in the room, so if you want coffee or tea after 1800, you are out of luck.

Great Vienna hotel
Very good hotel in an excellent location - walk to everything one might need. Very good staff and an excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful in assisting with anything required. Very easy check in and out.

Great staff. Nice rooms. But really the best is the classic European buffet breakfast. Fresh breads and pastries, cheeses and meats of all sorts. Fresh juices. Just cant say enough about how nice that is!

Good location and low price than most in Vienna
The bedroom and bathroom was simple and clean, the bath water had a heating issue that was solved. Great breakfast and location, near public transportation and Belvedere Palace. The price was cheaper than most in Vienna.

Good location & very clean room
This hotel is located very close to public transport. The room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. I really impressed by the hotel providing free sanitaries.

Very cozy hotel located just a few mins walk from Belvedere palace, 30 min walk to center of Vienna. Place has a great access to public transportation: tram and train. Breakfast was our favorite part of our stay: restaurant had a great choice for everyone. Rooms are pretty small but have all necessary stuff. Would stay there again!
