Dear Mrs Richards,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and so sorry to hear that your stay with us did not match your expectations, despite the team’s efforts to fullfil any requirement you made known to us.Valletta’s unique medieval layout unfortunately offers limited space and mobility throughout.The Capital is proud to offer rooms that are significantly larger than the norm, and, hence, we allocated our Courtyard King Suite that is certified for disability use and spacious enough to safely accommodate 3 adults in 2 double beds.The city’s charm lies in its narrow streets and majestic medieval buildings, hence views are limited unless on upper floors. We offered your husband the complimentary use of our Deluxe Suite with Seaview on the 5th floor to enjoy the view while you and your daughter did sightseeing, which he declined as he preferred to stay in your allocated room.We are very sorry about the misunderstanding in room configuration booked as it results that Expedia erroneously sent you a picture of our Deluxe Suite with Seaview, that we would gladly have upgraded you to had it been available.We apologise for not pointing out that our Nespresso machines also produce tea and we would happily have provided a kettle upon request.Satellite TV is available throughout and it is unfortunate that you didn’t manage to access this and did not inform us.Our bar is for exclusive use of hotel guests and had you wished to use this area we would gladly have drawn the curtains that are there for privacy as this space is often used for online meetings or quiet reading and working by guests due to its cosy ambiance.Our Rooftop bar and Terrace will be open next year andis therefore not represented or advertised in any of our material as yet.Once again we are truly sorry that The Capital Boutique Hotel and Valletta were not able to fulfil your wishes and would gladly have gone to any lengths to create a special memory, had such shortcomings been made known to us during your stay. As you have experienced, our dedicated team spare no efforts to ensure that guests are given personalised service and it would have been our honour to have personally guided and assisted you in planning such a special holiday.Best regards,
