Traffic gridlock during the day and into the night, okay on weekends, Dusty and air pollution from cars and coal burning power stations not so good. City can do a much better job of fixing up the roads, sidewalks, cleaning the city.
Interesting mix of Soviet era and modern architecture. The city is very grey and the air is polluted especially as the weather gets colder. The traffic is heavy and drivers are aggressive. It is always good to visit new places and see how others live
Amazing place to see
It is a great city , with many local and westernized restaurants and good hotels. The cost is realitively low for a good meal and good hotel . Their ballet show is good and not expensive. With 20 Canadian $,we sit in the front row! Traffic congested
