“We will return to this lovely hotel.”

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Staff was very helpful, Johnny, the concierge helped us get our tours set up for Hong Kong and China. The Shuttle runs very promptly on the hour. We had a real nice experience at the Spa, the girls gave great spa services. We did have the breakfast buffet several times and it was a nice combination of continental and oriental food. We were really glad we stayed there.

“Beautiful hotel with Great view at Great price.”

This is my second stay at Gold Coast. Both times they up graded my room to one with a balcony. This was a great buy for the money. Beautiful hotel right next to a long public beach.

“Would definately go back”

Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. The hotel shuttle bus provides a convenient way to get down town in 30mins. Definately would recommend room with balcony so you can sit and have pre-dinner drinks overlooking a great view.

“"Excellent value for money"”

This was our 8th visit to or through Hong Kong and, when in business, we've stayed in some excellent 4 & 5 star hotels on HK island. Now retired I look for value for money and the Hong Kong Gold Coast hotel is not only that, but the service and pleasant helpful attitude of ALL staff compares, if not surpasses the service offered by such hotels as the Ritz Carlton. Nothing was too much trouble. This time we looked for a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown to rest up after out long flight from LA prior to heading back into Australia. Last visit we stayed at a similar resort hotel in the New Territories and were happy with that, but they were booked out this trip so we tried the HKGold Coast hotel. What a win! good rooms with great sea and marina views. Beautiful lobby and restaurants and the grounds, gardens and pools were superb. The food was excellent although a little pricey for the lunch and evening buffets. However the vast array of food on offer and the presentation and service was brilliant. Also, I strongly recommend the buffet breakfast. Great value for money. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for the price. A little far from the airport ($HK220 by cab - about $A28) but the scenery on the way is worth it.

“Surprise in Hong Kong”

We stayed at the Gold Coast Hotel in Hong Kong, knowing it would be a little out of the way, but still expecting the hustle and bustle of the city. The place wasimmacualte, with a setting of maountains on one side and the azure ocean on the other. The balcony was huge(Grandluxe Balcony) and afforded enough privacy for the most romantic of interludes. Everything gleemed of marble, including the beautiful lobby. The hotel grounds, where one wedding and two wedding receptions were held that weekend, were elegant in their decoration and the pool, so inviting was a must for a Sunday morning dip. After hours entertainment, if you didn't feel like wading into the Hong Kong/Kowloon party crowd, could be had at Breakers, the hotel bar. The bar tenders were pleasant and the cross section of cultures enjoyable. The hotel even included free internet access in their business center. The main reason that this hotel was as enjoyable as it was is that it afforded a quiet, peaceful atmosphere to allow us to unwind.
