“An enjoyable stay”
My husband and I had booked one night at this hotel as we just wanted a short break. I had seen it on the internet and the reviews were all good. Our stay was very good. The hotel room was very big, clean and modern, although it was quite warm during the night. The hotel was very busy with different functions going on but the rooms were not a bit noisy. The staff were very pleasant and the food was very good. There isn't a great deal to do in Trim, but it is a good base if you want to do some sightseeing and there are very pleasant walks within Trim and Trim Castle is just across the road. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

“EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY”
In expensive euro Ireland this hotel was very good value for money. The room we had was spacious and the contemporary design from recent decoration helped it look clean, and it was clean !! Plenty of storeage space , reaonable soap/tea/coffee and rather nice hot chocolate made it a comfortable place to stay by any standards and compared with the rather low 'average ' we have experienced in Ireland Hotels and B&B's ( North and South ) this hotel is a star , and cheaper than any of the other dozen or so we have stayed in in Ireland so far. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone, and excellent value for money ! With a view of Trim Castle as well.
“Oasis”
This hotel is 5 star Expedia helped us book at 3 star pricing. Located a stones throw from Trim Castle one would think rooms would be hard to book. Staff is friendly and eager to please.
“Wonderful time, extremely recommended”
We had a wonderful time on this hotel, very clean, pretty, nice food, kind service, nice view of Trim Castle. Can't complain! I certainly recommend it.
“A Very Friendly Welcome to County Meath”
A large and extremely popular hotel in the small market town of Trim, overlooking and overlooked by an enormous mediaeval castle. Very friendly welcome from efficient receptionists. Large comfortable room/ bathroom. Excellent choice of restaurant or smart bar. Good food reasonably priced, despite the euro. Excellent Full Irish breakfast. 1 proviso - if you want peace and quiet and you need to stay on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, this may not be the place for you. In common with most other larger Irish hotels there will always be a wedding going on,and although Trim has substantial and separate wedding accommodation, Irish weddings always spill over. This is great if you are a people watcher and not prone to falling over herds of small children - so we were quite content- but accept that others might not be so keen. Anyway a great stay - only about an hour from the ferry port- which refreshed us for our ongoing journey
“Really impressed”
Hotel was fantastic. Very well located and service was amazing. Staff were very friendly and courteous! They couldn't do enough for you. Lovely views from front of hotel over the medieval castle and river. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
“Comfortable bed, great breakfast, friendly staff”
The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and a decent size by European standards. The beds were comfortable and the bath roomy. My favorite part of the stay was their fabulous breakfast - fresh food and such great service. The view of the Trim Castle was beautiful and the town of course had all the Irish charm you'd expect. It took us about 45 minutes to an hour to get there in a rental car from Dublin airport and it was a relatively easy drive for us jet-lagged American tourists trying to drive on the "wrong" side of the road.
“Well situated Trim Castle Hotel”
Trim is a lovely base to explore this area of Ireland, and we were well pleased with every aspect of our short stay at the Trim Castle Hotel.
“Beautiful hotel”
This is a wonderful hotel which my partner and I got at a fantastic rate. It is directly opposite the castle and central to all ammenities in Trim. Breakfast was lovely! I would highly recommend this hotel.
