The property is very rundown and should be closed for safety reasons. There were no staff at the resort at all. Restaurant and bar closed or simply no one working to even order food. No one answers the after hours phone number even during reception times. Worst experience by far.

Hi Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to review us. After reviewing your booking, I note that of the 3 nights you stayed with us our restaurant was closed for 2 of those, which are our scheduled closed days Sunday and Monday. On the first night of your stay, Saturday, our restaurant and bar were open until 8.30pm. Our Resort is in the final stages of our refurbishment so some areas working areas however this is confined to one block at a time and a section of our carpark. I would like to thank you for choosing Seagulls Resort and I wish you well on your future travels.

You realised you had booked on a night when our restaurant is closed and left within approx. 10mins. Not really fair to judge us so harshly when you made the error.We wish you well on your future travels
The beds were so comfortable and so are the pillows! The staff are so friendly and the food lovely with realistic not overinflated price. I'll definately stay again!

Can see that they are doing lots of work on improving the rooms and environment, which is lovely to see.
No curtains on windows so we were awake early by lights.
Great value for money although I've noticed that the complimentary water is no longer in the rooms, its the small things

The room was clean but the spa bath did not work. The whole hotel looked like it needed some TLC it was unkempt.

Hi Raewyn,Thank you for taking the time to review Seagulls Resort.After reading your comment re the spa I have personally checked your room and had no issue with the spa so I'm unsure why you couldn't get it to work - had you brought this to our attention we could have addressed this during your stay.Regarding the hotel needing some TLC we are currently undergoing a multimillion dollar refurb and at times do have trades and works happening, we do try and keep this to a minimum however it is all part of our grand plan to become one of Townsville's premier accommodation destinations. Nous avions réservé un appartement 2 chambres. A notre arrivée, nous avons eu 2 chambres séparées pour nous 4. Il n'y avait pas de cuisine. Nous avons diner dehors.
Chambres 129 et 130 très bien équipées pour le petit déjeuner, modernes, propres et spacieuses. Bord de mer accessible à pied. Promenade agréable. Tarif attractif avec Expedia.
Piscine tres chaude.
