Check in was quick and easy. Lots of dining options in walking distance. Area is generally quiet. Room is very spacious and in good condition aesthetics wise. Ceiling light above desk was not working, which was an issue for someone travelling for business and needs to work after dark. Was too late to do anything about it once found out (reception closes at 5pm). Aircon in the room was also extremely loud and ceiling fan looked extremely sketchy, wobbling so much you'd feel unsafe to use it. Ended up just opening the windows.

A one night stay so maybe not a fair review, the room layout was two rooms (A & B) separate, behind one door, so we could here everything our nextdoor neighbour did. Reception hours weren't overly clear.

Our apartment was spacious and modern with great water views. We loved it! Secure underground parking wasn’t available. Apparently you have to request this when booking. On road parking was easily available outside the property.

The 2 bedroom apartment was a very nice stay, very clean and had a lovely view. The room was very convenient for 4 people and very spacious.

Absolutely disgusting!! The room and building stank! The mattress had springs that poke you in the bum and it sinks down (doesn’t come back) even with someone only weighing 50kg. The air conditioner doesn’t work properly. The staff are difficult to contact, and when you do reach them they are rude and threatening. We were checked in for less than one hour before we decided to we needed to book somewhere else to stay. 1 star at most, not the 4 stars that was advertised. The photos do not match the room we were given. The lift needs maintenance. Crackheads outside. Not a safe premises. They took a $75 deposit off the credit car, hopefully it is reimbursed. Do NOT book!!!!

Allure offered me a large comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. It was easy to find and walkable from the client office. I would happily stay again.

Aggressive and Rude Hotel Representative
I booked into this hotel and contacted the property to inform them I would be arriving after hours. I never received a message from the hotel about the entry code to gain access to my room. I went to the hotel endeavoured to contact hotel management - the phone rang out. Walked around and eventually contacted hotel who subsequently told by a very aggressive and rude property manager that I was not staying at the hotel . No refund from Hotels.com - worst experience ever from a " hotel representative".

Check-in disappointing
Unfortunately our room was not ready when we arrived after the time stipulated-we were sent up to the room only to have to come back down & wait. Also had problems with the card to use the lift more than once.

The hotel staff were very friendly. Room servicing was when ordered, but they happily helped when needed. This was a lovely place to stay. The location is quiet, and people may find other Townsville locations more to their liking. Our room had a great view.

Have stayed here numerous times, now looking dated. Got a room next to door slammers, not the hotels fault. No underground parking for first night as they said they had no key fobs for access. Found out day after that’s not true. Stayed 3 nights and no room service. Overall time to look for something else whe n next in Townsville.

The hotel is new and nice. The only thhing that was missing was a doona. They only give us a sheet. Even there is blanket in the cupboard. It just feel not as clean to use. I end up going TO BIGw and brought a blanket to use myself.

Very nicely appointed and modern apartment. Spacious with everything you need including a washer and dryer! Easy after hours checkin process as well. Very close location to Magnetic Island ferry and our apartment had a nice view out to the marina. Good value for money. Would stay again

The room was ok and in a convenient area but the staff member although pleasant provided no detail about where the lifts where and that the room was through a door with the room number and then inside was marked A and B. There was also no onsite parking available and for the size of the hotel it was a little strange that the only parking was about 20 outdoor carparks. That we full and people were being directed there only to pull in, drive to the end and the reverse back onto the main street. The room was through

Construction work going on 7 in the morning on Friday morning duct tape on the carpet not very friendly staff 150 dollar cash deposit which still after 4 days has not been returned located farthest part away from the city not many shops available close by
