Short stay
The hotel is in a very nice location especially if you are interested in wildlife or a keen birdwatcher. The room was a little tired and several things needed repairs. The shower was in very poor condition. The meals were very average but the portions were large on the whole they brought back memories of school dinners.

Fantastic location in a rural setting. Watching the sun set from the terrace is a real treat. High quality restaurant with very good food is worth a trip in itself. Some of the finishes (e.g. taps and hooks etc) in the room were getting a little tired, but that is definitely not a reason to miss out on this place. Swimming pool was good and much needed in late July!

Good in-between stop
This was a nice enough hotel. I didn't care for the architecture. You need a car because it was a long way from anything but was a good in-between stop.

Wild life watching in Monfrague
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location for visiting the Parque de Monfrague was perfect. The service was good. Food was good unless you are a vegetarian when the options were very restricted. More knowledge of the current situation with local wildlife would also have been helpful (in view of this hotel's prime location). Will be happy to return again in the future.

in the middle of no where
overall the hotel was good and comfortable, quality of food was very average and we did not feel that the hotel was good value. However, given the location in the National park and no other choice it served the purpose well.

Hotel bien situado con instalaciones mal planteadas y sobretodo, mal mantenidas. Aire acondicionado haciendo ruido, interruptores q no funcionan, interruptor de entrada a la habitación detrás de la puerta (lo nunca visto…), ascensor q no abre ni cierra bien la puerta, sauna no operativa, farolas en parquing en sitio totalmente inadecuado…

Descanso en un lugar único y estrellado
Complejo moderno, singular y maravilloso hotel en un lugar inigualable. Comodas habitaciones, fantasticas vistas, excelente servicio, comida deliciosa y bien atendida. Piscina y actividades para niños gratis. Se ven las estrellas como en ningun sitio. Un lugar para DESCANSAR y estar tranquilo. Tb tiene spa y gimnasio. Rutas cercanas en bici y para correr. Fantástico!!!

No es un cuatro estrellas, ni siendo optimista.
Problemas serios en el cuarto de baño, las duchas están mal montadas y se inundan las habitaciones. No tenían servicio de mantenimiento y el hotel estaba lleno de clientes. Por otro lado a destacar la atención del personal del hotel, su voluntad por solucionar problemas y siempre con una sonrisa. Un diez para el personal.

Stort hotel nær nationalparken Monfragüe med god restaurant og god stemning. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Gode parkeringsforhold. Kan anbefales som udgangspunkt for ture til nationalparken og området i det hele taget. Meget rimelige priser.

Die Lage machts!
Das Hotel profitiert eindeutig von der Nähe vom Parque Nacional de Monfragüe, deshalb auch die Weiterempfehlung. Einen 4-Sterne-Standard darf man allerdings weder beim Essen noch bei den Zimmern erwarten, alles ist bereits ein wenig abgewohnt und recht hemdsärmlig. Die Hospederia in Alcantara, in der wir anschließend waren, hat einen sehr viel besseren Standard.
