I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking pool. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. Tables were uncleared and cigarette butts lay everywhere. Shame because Segovia is lovely.

Very happy with our stay
Just one night stay, the desk staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English and helped us enormously. Could not wish for better. Breakfast was very pleasant and the food was excellent full marks.

Beautiful place
It was super windy and they were eating for us. Super nice, gave us glasses for our wine. Recommended us where to park to avoid damage from the trees. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Sad we arrived late and left on the morning. No time to enjoy the place. Stayed with our two dogs.

Great hotel overall. Very comfortable large room with a small balcony. Clean too. Not a lot happening in the town but it was a good place to access both Segovia and the mountains. Breakfast was great too. Would stay here again.

Hotel was a brilliant find, we arrived after midnight and door staff couldn't have eeen better. We had 2 dogs with us and they loved it too, plenty of garden to walk them in and door from room straight onto it

Nice and clean but ask for high floor
Nice clean hotel, requested top floor room before arriving due to reading other quests complaints Re noise Was put on second floor, heard next door conversation for over an hour when trying to sleep Also overhead floor noise when people came in late So had a terrible nights sleep Also sink water was not running away blocked sink which I reported , no good me reporting the noise as reception had no one speaking English

Nice Hotel
We opted to stay at El Rancho to break on our journey from Alicante to Santander, combined with a trip into Segovia for suckling pig. The Hotel is lovely, not particularly friendly but nevertheless good.

I recommend it!
Our room was great. Lots of place, well decorated and perfecly clan. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of choice and good quality products. 10 minutes from Segovia in a quiet area. I recommend it.

Precioso lugar, muy buen servicio y exquisita comida, el cordero y el cochinillo lo preparan en horno de leña. Ubicado en Torrecaballeros, a 8 km de Segovia, de preferencia si traes auto y tiene parking. Si no hay autobuses.

the stay was absolutely amazing! We didn’t expect the hotel to be this nice and were more than happy about everything. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. I was amazed by the complete interior and all the little details. the stuff was extremely helpful and nice

Realmente muy bueno
El hotel es como lo ves en las fotos, espacioso muy cómodo silencioso y en un lugar de privilegio. El restaurante, la taberna, la tienda todo en el entorno de un monasterio jesuita precioso.

Buena experiencia de fin de semana rural para desconectar. El hotel está limpísimo y tiene muy buen servicio, excelente. Desayuno excelente (la bollería casera increíble). Fuimos pensando en utilizar el servicio spa, pero nos lo encontramos cerrado (lo cierran en verano). Por decir algo a mejorar, la insonorización de las habitaciones, las almohadas (o muy baja o muy alta y dura) y la ventilacion de las habitaciones, algunas, porque con tanta madera (en bigas y tarima) y en meses de calor (sin humedad), no se concilia el sueño.
