Hotel near place for an early morning appointmentPosted 10-Sep-2014
Cons: All of the accessible rooms should be tried in a wheelchair. More attention by staff to people with disabilities to ensure their needs are met.
I called to book a wheelchair accessible room through expedia.ca. Once at the hotel we were sent to three rooms by the desk staff, before we got an actual "wheelchair accessible" room. The bathroom was dirty, and the wheel in shower had a wooden bar stool in it (un-usable) a sink I could not get to because it was boxed into a deep countertop, and the toilet had no space for anyone to assist me to get on or off of it. The indoor wheelchair stair lift was broken so we had to go outside to use another one, and it was so steep, I could not have managed it without help as it was way too steep. The room had carpet, which makes it very hard to wheel, too much furniture to ambulate around, and a window with a view of the roof. The beds were hard. The closet had a lower rod but sliding doors that I could not get anything into the closet in a wheelchair. We paid extra for a good room and got ripped off! Not happy!!

Not at all satisfied.Posted 10-Sep-2014
Staff was rude. Not at all accomodating. Manager was really rude and was trying to be dominating. Room was not at all similar to what it was being shown in the pictures.

Overnight stayPosted 9-Sep-2014
This was just an overnight stay, but the hotel is gorgeous, great facilities. As you walk in you feel like you are entering a five star resort. Great outdoor pool area, with lounge chairs and a small tiki hut. Indoor pool area comprises of pool, hot tub and fitness area.

Well above averagePosted 29-Aug-2014
No issues. Not the hilton or weston but very acceptable. I have stayed here several times over the years and would stay again.

Very overpricedPosted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: Looked like it should deliver, but didn't.
Cons: Restaurant staff need changing, front desk need to be better staffed and prepared for trouble.
Location: On the Don Valley Parkway, near little. Got to drive to get there and go and do things.
First, their computers were down and a 45 minute line up to register ensued. They weren't coping well with that. Highly scented areas in the hotel didn't help those of us with asthma. Big king beds and cruddly little pillows filled with lumpy stuff. Pay for parking. The breakfast area was overpriced, the staff irksome - promising if you had the buffet early you could come back again before it closed down at 10am - then when we did come back, told by the same waitress that that wasn't true!

Hard to find but clean and friendlyPosted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: Friendly staff Clean
Cons: Parking Signage from the road
The hotel sign is small and can easily be missed. The driveway can be confusing as it is right beside the condo driveway adjacent to the hotel. Parking was difficult. No outside spots were available and a truck was blocking the drive to "addtional hotel parking". Once the truck finally moved, we managed to find lots of parking in the underground garage which is also shared by the condo next door. The hotel itself is clean (except the passage way from the underground parking to the hotel - which is also like a maze but well signed). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient for us as we were visiting relatives nearby. We would stay at this hotel again.

Convenient location but ...Posted 13-Aug-2014
Hotel well located with nice swimming pools. The beds were very comfy. The air circulation in the room was not good; there was no fan in the bathroom and despite being a non smoking room, it smelled cigarette when we arrived. Also a shame that we had to pay an extra for having a fridge in the room.
