“Good”

Standard 4 stars hotel. It appears that some parts were under renovation but there was no noise. Elevators are slow but room was good, large and clean. There's a bar and restaurant in the hotel.

“Parking”

My only complaint would be that the parking should be included. I paid $13.00 for one night stay to park. That is way too much.

“Good value”

about it. (1500 character max): The location of the hotel out of sight of the main road that was it's address caused some confusion. Better signage could alleviate this proiblem. The hotel was clean and modern. The parking was convient though expensive. The breakfast was average for the price of the rooms..

“Comfortable, Convenient and Complete Service”

We use this hotel when travelling to Toronto to visit our chidren in the Beaches area. It is relatively close, surprisingly quiet even though close to the DVP, friendly bar and food servers and clean and comfortable rooms. Over the past year, we have stayed a number of times and have no complaints whatsoever!

“good hotel”

I found the hotel a bit difficult to get to. The signage to it was not great. Once I found my way to it. It was fine.

“A Secluded Comfortable Retreat”

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was was clean and well designed. The bed was very comfortable and quiet area of the hotel. The food I ordered from Room Service was well prepared and quite good. They delivered it quickly and courteously. There was no Restaurant in the hotel due to renovations. The Breakfast that was provided with the room was a full Breakfast served downstairs in special area. The only problem was that on weekends there were excessive numbers of people in Breakfast area and could not get service or most of foods offered. The Kitchen staff was overwhelmed by the volume of people. You could not get a seat because of the large lines. If you have a car they charge a high rate per day. Overall I felt it's an excellent hotel!!

“Very good, but not convenient.”

I didn't appreciate the extra charge for parking. There was no forewarning. Access to the hotel was confusing.

“A hotel with good amenities”

The hotel is not within walking distance of toronto centre however there is a bus stop right outside and the transport links in toronto are pretty good. The food and bar area is very good and there is a nice relaxed environment in the hotel. Parking is ample although a bit disappointing that its a daily charge especially when its so far out of town. I expected this to be included with the hotel cost. Overall I recommend the hotel as a great option if you dont mind travelling into central toronto - good value.

“Accessible hotel”

I am in a wheelchair so accessibility is always an issue. We often stay at the DVH because of the value. The hotel is great, 2 pools, best buffet breakfast included and rooms at a great price. For Toronto, you can't beat it. It's 2 seconds to the Don Valley Parkway which gets you anywhere in Toronto in minutes. I wouldn't say that the accessibility is the best but it's OK. There are stairs to get to the dining room so you have to take an elevator . You need to get hotel staff to work it for you . They are speedy but you can't just do it yourself. You also have to go outdoors to get to the ramp that takes you to the accessible room. The door to this level is at the top of the outdoor ramp and to open it in a wheelchair is impossible. The washroom is a bit tight. The shower is roll in. We choose this hotel often.
