We needed to sleep.

Posted 21-Jan-2015
The room was quiet. The bed comfortable. The pillow combinations excellent. The room was "tired", meaning it needed paint job and updating, but ok. Lobby and main entrance was very nice and updated. We did not try any food offerings.

Aging non-major brand hotel in need of a new owner

Posted 14-Jan-2015
Pros: Close to Eglington and easy access to the Don Valley and business locations in the area.
Cons: Everything, this hotel needs to be sold off to a major chain in order to be upgraded for what would hopefully be a brighter future.
This hotel is an indipendent hotel trying to pass itself off as a major brand and fails to do so. I made the mistake of booking there because of a rush to book closer to where one of my clients is located. Normally i stay at Holiday-Inn’s, Comfort Suites etc etc. These branded hotels all have high standards of facilities, food service and most of the have included extras at no charge such as free parking, wifi, fridge and microwave etc as part of the standard rate. The Toronto Don Valley hotel fails on all of these items with the exception of free WiFi which failed twice during my stay. The hotel looks plain and a bit run down with regards to hallway clenliness, room maintenance and the general look and feel from the first minute you walk into the lobby. This hotel’s best future is to be sold to one of the major brands like Holiday-Inn. Hilton etc and upgraded to the new owners much higher standards.

Belle Hotel, bien situé pour nos besoin

Posted 2-Jan-2015

Did not like how we had to pay for parking and since the elevators were out of service it took a while to get from room to lobby and appearance was not as great.

Short stay hotel

Posted 22-Dec-2014
The lobby and staff are nice and the rooms are clean but just not very up to date. It's good for short stays but it's not a place where you want to stay for longer stays.
