Had an old room that did not look like the hotel web photos. Wifi constantly going in and out. Only one option for food (bar/cafe), hotel staff is noisy in the hallways.

For those who are not looking for top luxury but nice and clean place for short stays. Excellent for short business visits, etc.

Pros: Everything was excellent!!!!
Cons: Nothing at all
I picked this hotel as it was close to my conference and was I ever happy with everything it had to offer! The staff was so very helpful and knowledgeable about where there was good food and entertainment! Very glad I picked this hotel! I will definitely return and who knows maybe just for a weekend getaway :D ! Thank You Don Valley Hotel and Staff!!!!

Pros: Was conveniently located for purpose of visit.
Cons: Overhaul of facilities and staff.
Location: Ontario Science Centre close by. Good shopping and restaurants in Don Mills Centre.
Very difficult to find as poorly lit sign was only indication beside road. Noisy lobby. Considerable wait for check-in. Bed had only one sheet plus comforter. Telephone did not work. Washroom appeared soiled but could have been discoloration due to age. Air conditioner was noisy. Complicated coffeemaker and radio. Confusing prices for extras that may or may not have been applied, e.g. no charge for parking although $15 was shown in literature.

Location: lost in the middle of no where
There was a problem every day. The first night, all hotel guesses got an unsollicited wake up call at midnight. Getting an answer on the phone for room service, wake up calls, etc takes for ever. Many stairs to go up when coming in the building, and more stairs to go up to the elevator; not easy when you have luggage.

Very nice. Restaurant inside of the hotel is very pricey for what it offers. Unfortunately there is not much option to eat outside of the hotel within walking distance, so we were stuck with the restaurant options. Also, elevator is really slow and encourage to take stairs whenever you can.

Exterior of hotel was attractive. Hotel located with upscale condos giving it an exclusive feel. Lobby was renovated and very attractive and front desk staff were very nice. Upon arrival I felt good about my hotel choice. Our room was decorated nicely, but was one of the ones that hasn't yet been renovated. While clean and attractive, it was showing signs of wear and tear and was definitely in need of an update. Small irritating things started adding up and by the time we checked out I was ready to get out of there. Parking below ground was available but getting back to the hotel lobby was a bit of a chore and a maze. I will say that it was very well - marked though, so we didn't get lost. Elevators were slow and glitchy. Housekeeping tried to enter our room at ten after eight the morning of check out (noon) while we were still in bed but luckily we had the dead bolt on. Perhaps this wasv our fault for not using the do not disturb sign, but I thought it was a bit early to assume people had checked out. We planned to have the breakfast buffet at the hotel. It wasn't very busy but it took the two servers (who had both looked at us a bunch of times) to direct us to a seat. We sat for a couple of minutes and neither came over to the table, so we decided to keep spend our money elsewhere. The buffet was $15.95 per person, which I wasn't willing to part with for bad service. In the end, I might consider staying again once the whole property is fully renovated and updated

A okay hotel for the price under $100

Cons: From garage parking to lobby or elevator was not convenience.
It was a okay experience here. Although the condition wasn't desired, for $100.00 stay in Toronto, it wasn't that bad. Forgot to mention, parking was $14 extra. The garage parking was so confusing, it took us over 10 mins to find the entrance to the elevator. I believe there's more than one hotel sharing the garage parking. We went to the wrong one first time.

Nice hotel. Very quiet

Parking is extra. Costs $12 a day. Quietest hotel I've stayed in. I'm a very light sleeper and I was right beside the ice machine and close to the elevators. Didn't hear them or the doors of other rooms. Beds are very comfy.
