Friendly staff, pretty clean efficient service (shuttle and check in)
The guest services staff were very accommodating and helpful with printing some last minute documents for me to use for me meeting tomorrow.
Nice facilities and the Moxie's restaurant on site, did not disappoint!

Small room and bathroom.
Check out is at 11am- we were extended a late checkout. Had the do not disturb sign on our door. 8:30am we were woken up to 6 knocks n the door then the door trying to get opened. I jumped out of bed and went to the door, it was housekeeping. She could obviously see I just woke up then says sorry then asks what time check out is. I looked at her and said well it’s 11am but I was extended a late check out. Not impressed at all. Why would she be knocking on our door at 8:30am when check out is not till 11am the asking me what time check out is.
This was the first time at this hotel and will be the last. I also have friends who are travelling to Toronto and were staying at this hotel. I will be letting them know to cancel their reservation and book elsewhere.
I did mention this to the lovely girl at the front desk this am after she asked how my stay was. She said she would offer me something but since I prepaid in full she could not offer me anything. She was so apologetic about what happened. But it was not her fault. Just very unhappy with our first stay at a sandman hotel. Will definitely not book with this brand again.

So i initially got this hotel for the fact it was close to my destination with a hot tub...
Come to find out the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool "cold"

There was only one person at the desk, trying to manage phone calls, shuttle injuries, and check ins. For the cost of the room m, there should be far more staff available to help.

front desk was very friendly. Clean and quiet hotel.
My only 'complaint' is that the QR info stated the fitness center was open at 6am. But when I went at 6, the door said it was 24 hours. I would have gone earlier and got a longer workout it if I had known. This is relatively small and I also realize it wont impact most people.

Very nice and spacious double-queen room, and good proximity to the airport (with a complimentary shuttle). A few snags: we had trouble activating our key cards (it took 3 attempts); our bathtub drain plug didn't work; and it took several tries to successfully reach the front desk by phone.

Nice room, friendly staff, easy shuttle. Our only complaint is how noisy the bar/dining room is. Loud pounding rock music does not facilitate relaxation after a day of travelling.
