This was a very beautiful and comfortable hotel. At this time you can no longer walk to a different entrance to Chichén Itzá nearby: another hotel at that location has blocked access. But it's easy to take a taxi to the front entrance of the archeological site.
Our room just steps from the pool in the middle of the central patio was extremely attractive: two beds with colorful woven bedspreads, air-conditioning, and a beautiful view of bushes with bright red flowers blooming at the beginning of December! The restaurant is in the open air next to the pool, and was reasonably-priced with delicious food. There were luxurious rooms for guests to hang out in and talk with other people, games and books, and many bicycles available for the use of guests, a cold glass of jaimaica water when we checked in at the front desk, and they were putting up Christmas decorations when we were there last week. A gorgeous Christmas tree and manger scene, and pinatas, garlands, and handfuls of Christmas tree bulbs hung everywhere. Everyone who worked there was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.
