This hotel is really nice and clean, look like a Mexican village, so pretty. I recommend it, rooms are so cozy, we’ve had a good time.

My husband and I chose this property for the closeness to Chichen Itza Archaeological zone. We were pleasently surprised to find a tropical paradise awaiting for us when we pulled up to the front door. The grounds are beautiful. Flowering plants cascade from the balconies and birds sing in the trees. At night the night creatures sing as you sit in the central courtyard next to the pool. Archaeological statues and relics are displayed in the hotel and in the gardens. The room was exceptionally quiet and clean with good air conditioning. The beds were a bit too firm for my liking but still comfortable enough. Unfortunately the room has no T V or refrigerator but the hotel does have a library and tv room with pool table and Netflix. The restaurant was very good and had a buffet breakfast both days we were there. Don't expect to be able to walk to the park however as the hotel is opposite the park from the entrance and you can no longer get in the rear gate. They called us a taxi however and it only cost 100 pesos to get to the main gate. I would really recommend this hotel and will definately stay again next time we visit the great ruin of Chichen Itza.

The is a lovely older hotel. Have stayed here at least 4 times on visits to Chichén Itzá. Wonderful was to see the ruins. You stay over night at this hotel and then you go see ruins first thing in the AM before crowds from Cancun show up. Perfect. Pool is beautiful. Breakfast around the pool is wonderful. Staff used to b a little friendlier. Also hotel used soft white lighting before which just made the place elegant. They have gone to bright LED lights. I hope they go to soft white LEDs soon and restore the magical properties of the property.

We stayed for 2 nights in July, 2023 around a visit to Chichen Itza. This hotel is obviously suffering until the second entrance to Chichen Itza is reopened -- it honestly felt like a ghost town there, and is looking a bit frayed around the edges. It was frustrating to be able to walk 5 minutes to the closed entrance, but have to catch a taxi to the main entrance instead. Still, the rooms were clean, the staff was uniformly friendly, and it was a nice retreat after the crowds at the main site. I also rented a bike and rode to the nearby Cenote IK Kil (about a 5 minute bike ride), which was a great way to spend the afternoon after our Chichen Itza visit. Also, the sounds of the frogs in the evening were spectacular!

Lovely place with a great pool and service. What put me off was the lack of a tv set, frigo bar, and coffee maker in the room. For what you pay per room, I was expecting all amenities.

This was a very cool stay in the jungle, but we did book it because of how close it was to the entrance of the temples, but turns out that entrance was closed so we had to go all around anyway. Their restaurant was okay, lunch wasn’t the best but the dinner was pretty good!

This hotel is gorgeous! The infrastructure is so unique to the Chichen Itza area. The location is perfect. Very close to the ruins and a couple of towns. And the staff was very friendly and attentive, especially Manuel; he truly made our stay very special and we are very thankful for his work.

Great location near Chichen Itza. Beautiful pool and dining area. Adequate accommodations. But my biggest complaints were very poor internet access, no mini-fridge or ice machine available, and an electronic safe that didn’t work.

Lovely little place, gave the feeling of an authentic Mexican villa which was great. The only complaint: we weren't able to charge food and drinks to the room or set up a tab. This meant we couldn't leave our valuables in our room to relax with a beer by the pool. We also didn't have enough cash on us and were therefore charged fees by our banks for every purchase, which can add up. There is no atm on premises either. Our advice: take plenty of cash.

Nice place for your Chichen Itza visit
I really enjoyed my stay here. Pros: - Great restaurant with reasonable prices (great club sandwich!) - Good wifi connectivity - Nice courtyard with swimming pool - Pool table in a library room with large screen TV - Ample parking Cons: - Not actually as close to Chichen Itza as Google Maps would have you think since the connecting road is private. I walked back to the hotel from Chichen Itza; took well over an hour. Taxi far is ~80 pesos each way - Plenty of mosquitoes in my room when I arrived - Not the most comfortable bed, pillows in the world

This was a very beautiful and comfortable hotel. At this time you can no longer walk to a different entrance to Chichén Itzá nearby: another hotel at that location has blocked access. But it's easy to take a taxi to the front entrance of the archeological site. Our room just steps from the pool in the middle of the central patio was extremely attractive: two beds with colorful woven bedspreads, air-conditioning, and a beautiful view of bushes with bright red flowers blooming at the beginning of December! The restaurant is in the open air next to the pool, and was reasonably-priced with delicious food. There were luxurious rooms for guests to hang out in and talk with other people, games and books, and many bicycles available for the use of guests, a cold glass of jaimaica water when we checked in at the front desk, and they were putting up Christmas decorations when we were there last week. A gorgeous Christmas tree and manger scene, and pinatas, garlands, and handfuls of Christmas tree bulbs hung everywhere. Everyone who worked there was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location to visit ruins, rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Have a nice game room but Wi-Fi is a problem. We spent a lot of time in the cafe or bar of one of the bigger hotels in the area that had good wifi and comfortable seats. Food in the restaurant is good and staff are friendly.

Villas Arqueologicas are quite convenient to visit the Pyramids. Nice location as well, everything you need. In my opinion it is a nice family place. It should be signposted in a better way. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Disappointing
The rooms and hotel were quite dated and old. The rooms smelt damp and musty and we're quite dark. During the night the frogs in the drains are so loud - nothing I've ever heard before. We found it difficult to sleep with them. Service was good and people were nice but overall the hotel was a disappointment.

Great If Visiting Ruins
This is a big hotel with big perks if visiting Chichen Itza. Check in went smoothly and we were given information on how to visit Chichen Itza and hire a tour guide if we wanted. The room is adequate, however the beds were a little small and hard. The pool was absolutely beautiful and a welcome sight after being in the heat and humidity all day. Sadly, service at the restaurant was a little slow and not the most friendly. We left the hotel at 8:00 and were able to walk to a special entrance into the ruins. We entered by 8:20 and the ruins were so empty! We were able to get amazing pictures! I would highly suggest going early. When we returned to the hotel they were very accommodating and allowed us to check out later so that we could enjoy the pool before we left.
