It was one our dream vacation unfortunily it turn to an unconfortable stay as rhe bed was broke , no coffee in The room even worse the AC was our nightmare we couldn't sleep the room was like a sauna We had r open both doors in order to cool it down to comfortable temperature

The service was really slow and i bookt the most expensive room ther and didnt have water towel ore bathrobe in my room ore hair dryer i askt 3 times for it and the 4 time i got mad and i got it the double charged me for the food that i later see after i leave 1 cokacola cost like 4 dollar crazy over all the most expensive shiti hotel i ever stay inn and my room falling to pices

The stay began with the rooms not being as described and smelling. Upon complaining we were asked to pay for an upgrade for additional 50% cost. As it was late we were forced to accept. On checkout we asked to speak with the general manager or guest relations and were told they were not available. I have been a gold member of hotels.com and regularly travel internationally staying in numerous hotel but I have never received such bad service from a reputable 5 star hotel. this hotel prides itself on its historical reputation which no longer exists.

movenpick Tanger okay stay
Hotel good location looks amazing from outside and reception however we was given one of the old rooms which had a tiled floor that had dirt all over it , so I went to enquire and was given another room that has apparently been refurbished but this was at extra cost which did not please me as the first room is not fit for purpose , breakfast was average due t o freshness and staff were really friendly. The hotel really need to returb the rest of the rooms as once I got the Carpited room you could walk on this not the old tiled floor. The view was amazing pool and the sea 10 out of 10

First room smelled like cigarettes, we switched to another one that was not ready to receive guests, the air conditioner was not working, i think it was not fully installed it was barely turned on. We asked to change room for the third time but all rooms on the floor lack air conditioning and ventilation. Food at the hotel was terrible could not eat the meat, only bread and it was expensive, service was bad. Cheap night clubs, cheap lounges and cheap visitors were loud all night.

Movenpik Tangier disappointment
I've been to a few Movenpiks and have loved them, but this one was a disappointment in that the room furniture had burn marks on them, lights were broken, walls were extremely thin we could hear every word of our neighbor, and concierge gave us inaccurate information about the ferry schedule. Pool was gorgeous but not heated so not useable. Buffet food was not good and did not taste fresh. Staff were nice, but this facility did not meet my 5 star expectation. Also no signature movenpik ice cream was on site.

3 Star Hotel I was very disappointed with the service. Poor front desk customer service. We waited 3 hours at the front desk. The rooms are so outdated and the toilet was not flushing properly. The room cleaning service is absolutely insane—they’re always behind and late. They show up at 8pm one night. On a positive note, I must say that the hotel is in a good location, the pool was amazing and the morning breakfast was very good.

I truly believe that this particular local is not reflective of the Mövenpick name and certainly doesn’t mirror or deserve a 5* accreditation. You should truly reconsider the management style, the lack of sufficient employees and detail in every room. We reserved 3 non smoking rooms and none were up to standard (from dirt to broken items, to smoke smell on blankets and pillows to cigarette burn marks on furniture to no air conditioning to no towels in the bathroom, no iron or hair dryer,.....the list is a lot longer). We spend our first day waiting for the electrician, technician and handyman to complete their work in our rooms. We couldn’t even get someone to clean the filth in the bathroom since the cleaning crew leaves at 5:00 pm. It was unbelievable to us that there’s no cleaning crew available in the hotel 24 hours a day. I’m very sorry to say that this location has stained the Mövenpick name in our view!

Terribly managed hotel. This is a 3 star local Moroccan hotel, not a 5-star international hotel. Facilities are in complete disrepair. Most of the staff is sullen and do not take any pride in their work (or their clothing). Broken things in room too numerous to list, including telephone, toilet flush, power outlets etc. General Manager Alain Rillof manages the place very poorly and thinks he is above responding to customers. Stay here is you are looking for an average 3 or 4 star local hotel. But this is nowhere near a 5 star hotel and is a stain on Movenpicks worldwide.

The pool was drained so not available which was a bit disappointing which is why my condition rating is not very good and the hotel was a little far from where we spent most of our time. On the plus side the traditional Moroccan restaurant was a great value and was some of the best food we had and the live traditional music was great!
