Nice property. I didnt like the fact that they dont advertise the cheaper parking across the street, but rather push their valet parking for doublt the price.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want daily housekeeping, the day they came and “cleaned” They just replaced towels in my bathroom DIDNT BOTHER TO CLEAN. Bedsheets remained the same.

Service was nice and polite. We were given a room upgrade to one with a balcony, however, it turned out to be a very noisy room with hearing loud talking outside at 3am that woke me up. I was tired and was able to get back to sleep after about 10 mins. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching people and deciding what restaurant to go to earlier that night. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Felt like I was staying at a highway motel. Purchased a balcony room and actually felt unsafe having that balcony at night. Both nights during my stay there was loud music playing in the parking a lot across the street until 3:30 am. Essentially a parking lot party with the food foods that was so loud it kept me awake. I would not recommend this property to any friend and the rooms were also outdated, poorly taken care of, and had a strange moisture smell in the room.

This was a dirty and unsafe property. The patio did not lock properly and the door lock wasn’t working all the time. Plumbing was an issue and toilet clogged twice. Service was not great either. I felt like I was in a motel instead of a Marriott. Will never stay here again.

Checked into room 303 to an A/C that wasn’t working. Maintenance came up fixed it and left. It worked for about 5 minutes. Maintenance came up again fixed it, waited to see if it would stay on for a few minutes, it did and he left. 5 minutes later it wasn’t working again. We were heading out to an event and didn’t have time to deal with this issue again. By the time we returned from the event it was after 2am and we just wanted to go to sleep. As we all woke up soaked in sweat this morning, I couldn’t wait to leave the building I was so frustrated. Also was told valet fee would be $25 and was charged $35.

The staff is great
A special shout out to Anthony at the front desk. When we discovered we would be limited to valet parking one of our two vehicles at the hotel. I called the front desk, asking for help, and Anthony was terrific! He was extremely professional during check-in, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable in our room. Another shout out goes to Matt at the valet stand. When we arrived at 3 PM, there were no luggage carts. Matt went from floor to floor to try and find one, but came up empty. We had a lot of stuff, and he helped us get it up to our room.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated that a property had 1 of 2 elevators out of service on a weekend that was likely sold out for Gasparilla. Room rates significantly increased for the event and check-in and check-out was impossible in any efficient way if one needed a luggage cart. After four unsuccessful attempts to get on the only working elevator that wasnt filled to capacity with guests checking out, hotel staff very kindly assisted in carrying my belongings to the lobby.

Overall it was a good stay. Only inconvenience was on the first night. We reserved a room with a balcony for my son to enjoy the views but at check in they told us that they didn’t have one available. I took a regular room for the night and had to wait until the 2nd night to be moved to a room with a balcony after I reminded the front desk. Staff was friendly and helpful otherwise.

This property is in a great location if you want to enjoy the Riverwalk. I am a Marriot Bonvoy Elite member, and was a little disappointed in this location.(half the gym equipment 2out of 4 was down, and the Bistro here was terrible. On a positive note, ANTHONY at the front desk made this Stay decent. He was sooo professional and helpful and represented the Brand properly, the other Ladies couldn't be bothered. I travel a LOT,so I'm probably tougher than most. Not the BEST value for your money here. Happy New Year! :)

Upon booking online, it mentioned breakfast included. I thought that this was included in the package, only to find out it’s a la carte. This caught me by surprise,as it was never stated on Travelocity. All in all the hotel had a great offering, keep it up!

Property was completely disgusting, stained sheets etc... so much so that we had to leave and go check in at another hotel. Not okay!

Excellent Experience
Although the room was very small, it was very comfortable. The air condition was turned on when we arrived causing the air to be fresh. The room was exceptionally clean. The front desk team was exceptional. As for value, the price for the room size was, in my opinion, a little overpriced. Compared with Disney, the room sizes were much smaller in this hotel to comparable rooms for lesser cost at Disney resorts. Location was excellent as it was within walking distance to the Straz theater, Art Museum and the down town streets. We would likely visit again because the service was excellent and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Note to out of towners visiting. Parking is VERY challenging. Every spot to park your vehicle will have a costly price whether on the street or in a lot. The hotel offers a valet service. At the time of this post, it was $35. The value of this option is to leave your car with the hotel valet service and walk to all destinations, that would be the most practical strategy. Although it is parked away from the property, my vehicle returned without any dings or dents, etc.

This bedsheet where dirty they were not change which is disgusting I had to call down and request that to be changed so be aware they just look like they’re flip them over and put the dirty side so you can’t tell. I also do not like the idea that they do not come every day to clean the rooms and don’t provide with extra towels for the amount of money, they charge you cutting down on services that’s not good, there was also no enough shampoo in one of the elevators wasn’t working so just the places in this repairs also, they do not longer include breakfast, which is an issue they used to do that and I will not go back
