Very nice hotel on the beach within walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Fresh fruit for breakfast every day and the in suite kitchen was very convenient. We very much enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to next time!

Great place to stay in Tamarindo! The hotel is towards the quieter end of the beach. Short walk to all restaurants, bars, and shops. Surf rentals and lessons available on site. The Staff were very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend to stay here

This property is at the quiet end of the beach and is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Rooms are spacious and updated, beds are very comfortable, and staff is outstanding. Wish I would have found this place sooner. Will definitely be back.

The resort location is at the best spot on a fabulous beach. No restaurant or bar was not an issue as a large choice of each is a walkable distance, and keeps the grounds very quiet and relaxed.

Located on the south end of Tamarindo beach, you have some privacy and your own beach retreat. Rooms have a kitchenette which helps to keep costs down. However, the closest store is a 1/2 mile walk and quite expensive...and this is for anything you might need. The hotel has no restaurant, bar or store, so plan accordingly. We really enjoyed out stay but wish I'd known to plan ahead.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coast. Rooms were very clean and efficient. Nice kitchens and beds. Pool was nice and the beach side chairs were excellent. The staff was wonderful even helping us extend our stay a night. The location was great only a short walk to Tamarindo restaurants and attractions like snorkel boat cruises.

The property was vey clean. Pool was great. Staff was always cleaning the outside facilities and watching people coming and going. The reception desk was always there to answer questions, provide numbers for surfing & booking departing transportation. It was quiet but close to lots of great restaurants and activities

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent. It’s at the end of the town, so the beach area is quiet, but it’s also a short walk to get to all of the bars & restaurants. It’s was so nice to be able to walk out of the hotel & in a few steps be right on the beach.

Awesome Experience
Awesome hotel and staff. They have a grill so we cooked some Mahi we caught and served everyone around pool, great time. Great beach access and a little less crowded area. All the Stephany’s were great at front desk. The kitchenette in room was unexpected and great. The full size fridge was great to have. Will be returning next year!

This resort is at a quiet area of a busy community. Very laid back checkin system. When breakfast arrives at your room, they knock lightly and then leave it outside your door. So check for it, at your requested time.

Remote to the point of being secluded yet walking distance to shopping. Quicker to restaurants and shopping by walking on the beach than on the street side. Perfect location in Tamarindo
A lovely boutique beach spot right on Playa Tamarindo! The Coast is situated far enough from the central chaos of Tamarindo but within walking distance to the restaurants, bars and shops. Breakfast options are chosen upon arrival and are brought to the room. The breads and fruits were a perfect light meal for us in the mornings. The staff is warm and helpful and the rooms are cleaned very well. While it’s not a perfectly new hotel, the staff works hard to keep it clean and welcoming. There’s a great restaurant across the street with a bakery attached. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

We booked this after looking at reviews which are very accurate. Its a small hotel with a very nice pool, because of the size, we got to know other guests which was fun. It is a short walk into the center of town which was great. Lots of amazing restaurants. The property is well maintained. No bar or restaurant which was fine for us. The room had an apt size fridge and microwave, as well as 2 burner cooktop. This was very convenient for heating up leftovers, if you stop at a supermarket prior to coming into town center (there are several), it would be easy to get things to have for lunch, etc. Breakfast was exactly as others have described- nice fresh fruit, coffee, cereal, bread (theres a toaster) and yogurt. Plenty for a light breakfast. Tamarindo is a fun beach town, the beach is not a white sand beach as there is a lot of runoff, so the water in the rainy season is somewhat brownish, but still pretty sunsets and nice for walking. There are plenty of loungers to sit either at pool or near beach. The price was reasonable and worth it if you want a low key, more boutique like hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is a short walk to downtown Tamarindo yet far enough away from the town that it was quiet. We loved having the beach access right there and you could easily walk to the beach. The beach area was kept very clean and nice padded lounge chairs to sit on. You could use boogie boards and other beach toys for free (except a small rental fee to use a surf board). The pool was small but great for what we needed. Both sunny and shaded areas to sit at and we loved the pool loungers in the water. We felt very safe as there was always a security guard or 2 around the property. Even though the breakfast was continental, it was great. Some variety to choose from and perfect for what we like to eat in the morning. We didn’t mind that there wasn’t a restaurant on site, as there were lots of restaurants within walking distance.
