The sound proofing of the room is, to put it nicely, quite terrible. I could actually hear the couple next door doing stuff, snoring, talking and I could even tell the exact time they came back from shopping. That is how bad the sound proofing is, & probably how inconsiderate that couple was. Could not sleep at all, after that couple checked in.
However, saving grace is the location is very good - "connected" to Zhongshan MRT Station, and being surrounded by 3 shopping malls & a hip alley, and within walking distance to Kuo-Kuang Bus Station (~ 8 minutes), Taipei Main Station & Q-Square.
The room itself is very basic, with a small kitchenette, the interior of fridge was not very clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious.
Overall, I would say if you are a light sleeper, not recommended to stay here. If you can sleep through loud thunder, like a good location, & is on a budget, this will be a perfect place for you!
