"Great for a short break, although the outdoor balcony was in serious need of cleaning and cob web removal. The hammock was very mouldy but was lovely to sit in. Unfortunately our cottage was on the road side and the traffic was very noticeable. I was craving an escape from Sydney to hear the birds, but the traffic was overpowering them 😔 I think the cottages on the opposite side of the property overlooking the valley would be much nicer. "Booked 1 year ago Nov 2022 on Wotif this resort, received confirmation email back, emailed the resort sharing the confirmed booking the following day, then asking if they had rooms with 2 queen beds, which they replied no, just 1 x Queen & 2 x single. Rang to arrange payment mid last week, to them telling me I did not have a booking in the system? Very badly managed, basically them blaming Wotif, no assistance, nothing. "

"The Spit is a short walk through the gate at the back of the property, along a safe track to the beach. The view off the balcony was amazing. I loved listening to the waves crashing onto the beach, the birds in the trees, and seeing the sunrises and sunsets. "

"I know this is a rain forest property, but the drives are narrowed by the vegetation, and it looks like the property is in the process of upgrading. I loved the bed, and veing woken up by the birds outside. But after taking a bath the room never dried out and the floor was slick. "
