Really nice place to stay and great breakfast. Only a small down side was that the room could of been aired as there was a slight damp smell but perfectly clean and modern shower room

Lovely quiet location , a local pub walking distance, THE PLOUGH ,very friendly, good food good service . Justin the onwer of manston guest house was helpful and knowledgeable, also lots of communication, about requirements for breakfast and what time breakfast was required, and any special requests, coffee ,full English etc A great place for a base ,we were attending the tankfest 2023 at bovington camp Also reasonable on price for two nights +breakfast included

Love friendly place , the owner was so helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable, toiletries all available plus soft clean white towels. Breakfast was amazing with a nice selection to choose from . Would recommend to friends and family.

This was a lovely night's stay. The owner made us very welcome, was helpful, polite and friendly. The accommodation was nicely presented, comfortable, excellent quality and very peaceful. The breakfast was the best I have had when staying away, personal touches just like home but very professional too. I would highly recommend this guest house for a short or long stay in Dorset. Convenient to eateries , the coast etc. Thank you.

Beautiful stay and setting
We loved are short stay. Was really lovely setting in the country side. The owner was very friendly and the free breakfast was a lovely finishing touch to are stay. We will definitely be coming to stay again

Warm, friendly welcome, very helpful. Lovely room, peaceful, rural location, beautiful countryside. Excellent breakfast (happy to cater for vegans, too). Seating in large garden. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Highly recommended. Near lots of sites of historical interest. And very reasonably priced. I had a lovely, relaxing stay. Dinner not provided but local options are available.

We had a amazing stay .The owner Justin was amazing and nothing was to much he was very welcoming and made us feel at home the whole stay .The breakfast was well nice plenty thanks choose from even though we were the only ones staying there first two days he still put everything out for us to choose from will definitely stay again

Very comfortable stay
Just a one night stay but very comfortable in a room which looked like it had just been refurbished. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay again. Nice pub close by

A beautiful find. Enjoyed a 4 night stay at Manston Guest House recently, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a central location to explore Dorset. Justin is a lovely host, and serves a fab cooked breakfast, as well as cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruits and juices. Our room (7) and communal areas were very clean, bed was comfortable, and a bigger than expected bathroom with a decent shower. There is free on site parking too. Everything you could want really!

Perfect. A lovely place with a host, Justin, who went the extra mile to make our stay very comfortable. The house is in a nice spot and the food was very good. Justin looked after my wife’s dietary requirements very well. The room and bed were comfortable.

Pleasant Surprise
I am away from home some 60 nights a year on business and I must admit, I don't normally stay at B&B's or Guest houses as I prefer hotels. This guest house was a pleasant surprise. The room had everything I needed and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for my host, who also got me a reservation at a local restaurant that had been fully booked. I had a very good nights' sleep and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely guest house. Clean room with small fridge provided so fresh milk for tea and coffee. Justin was very accommodating and put a very comfy single bed in the room. Good breakfast with tasty veggie sausages. Would recommend.

Homey cosy country accommodation.
Our host was really sweet - farm eggs were left on our doorsteps with a noted recommending nearest organic farm shop. Chicken & geese roam the yard is refreshing difference to city life. Aga stove in bright and fully equipped kitchen ! Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Personalised hospitality at its best!
We selected this accommodation for an overnight stop on our way to a family funeral so, unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy fully the wonderful countryside around Manston. However, we could not have made a better choice as the Manston Guest House combines most effectively its quintessentially English, country house charm with modern facilities. The delicious breakfast was cooked to order and at a time of our choosing. What's more, even though we were the only guests staying there on that occasion, the selection of cereals, fruit, juices, cooked items, toast, tea and coffee offered something to suit even the most discerning of palates. Our host, Justin, could not have been more helpful and, if ever we find ourselves in that delightful part of Dorset again, we know exactly where we shall choose to stay! Thank you for a relaxing and refreshing stopover. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Great hosts. Justyn and daughter Lisa were most welcoming. Home from home. Nothing too much trouble. Stayed for the Dorset Steam Fair and would recommend this establishment. Lovely dog and cat.

having taken 10 mins wating to get in on the phone and ringing bell then we were taken up to our superior room well we called it cramped dark and with the worst wooden window we have even seen broken and dirty but the best was to come in the morning after a terrible nights sleep slugs going up window on the inside my god worst place we have stayed was due to stay for 4 nights but left after only 1 night went to find superior else where which we did all this for £100 would not recommend
