It definitely needs updating. Had to switch rooms because our room was 81 and the air conditioner did not work. Asked for the new room to be closer to the elevator because my husband has 2 knee replacements. Was advised none of those rooms were prepared for guests.

Older hotel. Room was clean but could use updating. Lots of restaurants close by including one in the hotel. Employees were friendly. Indoor pool and hot tub a nice feature.

Great inexpensive place for a ski vacation
I stayed with my husband, 7 year old and 10 year old. We all slept great both nights (and two of us are light sleepers). We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. We took advantage of some of the silerwear and plated offered in the breakfast nook. We appreciated the large (for a hotel room) The bus to stowe mountain is convenient, leaving right from the driveway and right on schedule. We went to the restaurant as well, a hidden gem - a restaurant in Stowe with no wait! There was a line dancing lesson starting just as we left that looked fun. Every person we met - hotel and restaurant staff and guests were kind and friendly. It's not fancy, but it's a solid place to stay if you want to ski Stowe.

Our family of four, with 2 teenagers stayed here for a ski weekend and look forward to coming back. The price is right and it’s a clean and comfortable property with a warm and helpful staff. Appreciated the pool and hot tubs as well as the restaurant/bar, which is attached to the hotel. We had dinner there twice and the bartender remembered us and treated like old friends. The shuttle bus which runs on schedule and takes you to the Stowe ski mountain, picks you up right out front!

The hotel is conveniently situated, there is ski shuttle service. However, the breakfast is just acceptable and the area around is not very lean.

I liked the hotel. The food at the attached restaurant was very good. The issue is I put in my search for a hotel close to smugglers notch. Travelocity said this hotel was 10 miles from there so I booked. It’s more than 30 miles away and a 48 minute drive.

My son and I come here every ski season for a long weekend. It’s not super luxurious, but it feels like Vermont. Cozy and friendly. And the hot tub is a great night cap after a day on the mountain, we plan on visiting the commodores every year

Older hotel but great service and location. We loved the restaurant that was attached that made it very easy for our tired family to eat when we wanted. The rooms were spacious. The bed was comfortable but could use new pillows. We enjoyed our stay and would return

Smelled so strongly of smoke. Carpets were dirty and stained. Seems like nothing has been updated since it was built.

I asked for a check in at 1pm. They said my room would be ready at 2:30. No problem. The common area was comfortable and stocked with local literature. Enough to kill an hour. At 3 pm I was told my room was ready. Solid. You can’t ask for a more prompt and cordial check in.
