This property is a nice property, however, it is a bit dated. It offers plenty of room for a family of 4. The kitchen needs some upgraded amenities, such as coffee cups, wine bottle opener (which we left the one we bought) & half of the eyes on the stove didn't work.
We understood that the condo had a washer and dryer. It does, but what we didn't understand was that it was a coin operated one in a community area on the first floor. Nothing like a long day of skiing, then spending the evening down in the laundry washing clothes. This was not made clear in the description of the property. If it was, we misunderstood.
The shuttle was an issue that we were not aware of. We had shuttle service from 7:00 AM until 4:50 PM. After that, you were on your own and on your own dime. Therefore, if you wanted to go to town and eat dinner, you only had the option of a Taxi, Uber or Lyft. Although, the cost of the Taxi was about $15. However, we based our evening decisions on if we were willing to spend the $$$ to be able to get home. This was not made clear in the description of this property.
The ski In/ski out was very convenient as well as the ski lockers that were available on the first floor. It was nice to not have to bring all the equipment into the condo (there really wasn't enough room for it all anyway).
The view from the balcony is MAGNIFICENT! So, NYE was amazing watching from the balcony!
Overall, we had a very nice stay for our first time in Steamboat. However, I am confident that we will not stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.
