Great place to stay! Close to MSU campus. Big, comfortable, and clean rooms. Homey atmosphere. Staff is always so kind. Love that they have water, coffee, fruit, and cookies available throughout the day!

The decor has the feel of old class hotels, unlike the major brand chains that have an HGTV vibe. They also understand the value and importance of customer service, another lost art.

The night stay was fine, quiet. Some of the conditions of the room were the only problem. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work (sometimes you need it to work) , and the bed skirts where shredded (like a cat had beed locked in the room). But we would stay here again because of the location and price.

The room I stayed in had a distinct smell I don't know what it was and the lighting options in the room need to be improved. There was no garbage bag in the bins and the bathroom was not clean when I arrived and I didn't like the carpet also the card door lock to my room was slow and took around 10 times. Other than that it was fine and the people working on the building were nice.

Affordable and clean. Our room had an overpowering smell of deodorizer when we entered but we adjusted or it lessened when the AC was on. Carpet and some furnishings were dated but the cleanliness, service, location and breakfast made up for it.

Room had a very musty smell. Need to replace carpeting with vinyl flooring in rooms No weights under 20lbs in exercise room. Cardio equipment needs to be replaced Very noisy outside our room u til midnight when cops came and chased cars and people away who were meeting in parking lot Great location for walking to BB and FB games Good breakfast

It was OK
Staff was great. We had to change rooms two times. First time air unit was out, the second room smelled horrible. Third room was fine but the pullout couch had some kind of horrible green stain on the cover. Thankfully, we still had the key to our original room, so we swapped mattresses. Good breakfast. Great location.
