Bright, spacious, sparkling clean, and freshly remodeled 2br/1ba ranch home just twenty-five minutes west of Saint Louis in Saint Charles; a quiet, historic city on the Missouri River. Stylish updates are a highlight of this 1,271 sq ft 1940’s era home. Proximity to local attractions is a key convenience. The St. Charles Convention Center (which hosts many large events) is directly across the highway (just a five-minute drive.) Lindenwood University is a three-minute drive, or a ten-minute stroll. Walk to parks, museums, restaurants, cafes, and the downtown Main Street area. This home is perfect for families visiting their college students at Lindenwood U, folks in town for Convention Center events, or simple vacations close to the sights and sounds of charming historic Main Street. This convenient, chic, freshly updated getaway invokes a homey, contented feeling. The house has everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Living Spaces: A welcoming, covered front porch leads into a large living room with beautifully refinished, original hardwood flooring. This comfortable living room sofa is also a full-size sleeper. A pass-through wall between the kitchen and living room makes entertaining a breeze. The huge finished basement features a movie room with a large sofa, an ottoman, a large, wall-mounted Smart TV, and a game room with foosball and Pac-man arcade games. The basement sofa is a queen-size sleeper. Not many 2bd/1ba vacation rentals in the area will provide as much space as this home! This is a perfect home for entertaining small groups! The open ceiling with exposed beams and joist lighting – all painted black – gives the basement recreation space a sleek, industrial, modern aesthetic. Such an inviting hang out! The basement also features a laundry room with washer and dryer, as well as cabinets for additional storage. Kitchen & Dining: The freshly updated chef’s kitchen has a large case opening, sleek white cabinetry with nickel pulls, solid-surface counters, and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances including a double basin sink, fridge, dishwasher, range, oven, and microwave. Just twenty-five minutes west of St. Louis is St. Charles, a scenic river city with a unique French-Canadian fur-trading history, notable attractions, quiet neighborhoods, friendly people and a pace just a little slower than that of the big city. St. Charles is the quintessential small town that’s far enough away from the big city, but still close enough to enjoy the best of St. Louis. Main Street St. Charles is a huge attraction with year-round events, entertainment, festivals, and fairs. Lindenwood University is right down the street and is a growing and successful private, liberal arts university with a strong athletics program. Pros: Great Location, you are 5-10 min walk to Main Street! Clean Property and comfortable bed! Great response from Brett! We enjoyed our stay! Cons: Small imperfections with the interior and heater and plumbing make weird noises when used. Not enough to bother the stay as long as you don't use the bathroom at night! ha ha ha Thanks Brett for letting us use your property!

A perfect place to stay
Very clean and comfortable. Sectional couch is a great feature. Location is clean and in a safe neighborhood. It’s centrally located near the convention center and the quaint shops on the Main Street by the river. It was a perfect place for our stay.

We had a great stay at this property, it was perfect for my family of 5 with the basement finished. PacMan video game was a big hit too! Located so close to Hwy 70, Old Town St Charles, and 94/364 interchange. We would definitely stay here again!
