"I Left My Heart at Villa Celeste"
Be still my heart! Arriving at Villa Celeste was exhilarating! Our stay at the Villa Vista for 7 days (6 nights) was heavenly. Our views of Coral Bay, Hurricane Hole, Hanson Bay, and the British Virgin Islands were phenomenally gorgeous and Lois gifted us with a keepsake to remember our view. The patio, our private pool, and the cozy villa are relaxing and beautiful. We loved the TLC we received from the house manager, Joy who checked in on us, stayed in touch, and we joined her for Thursday Open Mike Night at Miss Lucy's. I wish I could share more about her good character, generous nature, and backup singing for Lauren's onstage music ensemble! Keep Joy in mind should you decide to have her show you around the islands on her sailboat. Rent a Jeep or a sturdy 4 wheel drive vehicle to handle the winding, vertical roads and switchbacks. You'll enjoy scenic drives, many gorgeous beaches at both Coral and Cruz Bays and a lot of good restaurants in both areas, too! We had the good fortune to do a walk-thru of the spacious "Paradis" villa that sleeps four plus more in case you have a larger group. You may be able to book both villas which will give you access to the pool at our smaller Celeste villa if your parties are together.. No matter what, both have fabulous, spacious decks overlooking the scenic Coral Bay vistas. No doubt, we'll book again should we return to St. John!

A Lovely One Bedroom
This villa is perfect if you're looking for a quiet getaway. The owner has many ammenities onsite (like coolers, hats, sunblock, beach towels, etc.) that help you to save money and are very convenient! Every morning you wake up to bird song and gorgeous views of the bay below and the outdoor shower is perfect for a post hike/beach refresh. Joy is truly great if you have any hiccups in your stay and is very responsive. I can't recommend this villa enough!

Heavenly views is right!
It’s one of the most beautiful views we’ve seen! Lois was quick to respond. Joy was very accessible and helpful - the meet and greet add on was absolutely worth it, would not have wanted to attempted the driveway on our own for the first time (took a couple days to get use to it). Villa was exactly as pictured, clean, kitchen well stocked, bed was super comfortable - we didn’t use the pool since we spent our time at the numerous beautiful beaches. We like to enjoy a cocktail or two (or three) in the evenings but didn’t want to attempt the road/driveway in the dark so we picked up food from the local market just down the hill and cooked in…making our own cocktails 😉 Had dinner at Rhumbs Lines - good food with tropical atmosphere, a tad on the pricey side. Also got to go dinner from Johnny Limes BBQ, just down the hill, great food and had live music and a jerk lobster special on Friday nights. Our favorite beaches (we like a more back vibe) were Maho (had food trucks/rentals, etc) & Hansen which is private/more remote, with some rentals and is donation so have some cash and bring your lunch or drive to skinny legs for lunch about 10 minutes away. Never made it to Lime Out but I hear it’s fun and has great tacos.

Island Perfection!
All of our boxes were checked off, and then some. The welcoming by Joy is so helpful to understand how, what and where is happening in the coral Bay Area. Actually she filled in sites and sounds for the entire island. The accommodation are impeccable! It has everything you need to unwind, relax and get to on “ Island Time” immediately. The pics on the site are spot on, the view spectacular. The breeze over the island made the evenings cool and pleasant. Sheetz were crisp, kitchen well appointed, bath area was spotless. Patio dining was perfect - enjoyed our meals with the view. The beach essentials: towels, pool noodles, coolers and chairs enhanced our exploring moments to a “T” The nights were quiet,outside of the natural sounds of the island…They make you understand that you are I. A very special place! So appreciate the opportunity that you share this special place with others! Loved our time!

Perfect dream villa
My fiancée and I came to St john to get married and enjoy our honeymoon. The Villa was absolutely perfect. It was our home away from home and felt so comfortable. We felt very safe. We had the pleasure of meeting Lois and Ted who were so warm and inviting. We also took advantage of Joy's meet and greet and she is amazing. Provided us with so many great tips which made our trip smooth and fun. It was like having family away from home. The villa has everything you could need. We used the coffee maker, beach chair, cooler with ice packs, and patio chairs the most. The views and wildlife (goats, humming birds, iguanas) were so fun to observe while sitting on the patio. We had a blast at Miss Lucys Thursday night for open mic. We will be back for sure! THANK YOU LOIS, TED AND JOY for your kindness and hard work that allows us to enjoy this slice of heaven.

Perfect
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Celeste last week. This is the perfect property for couples looking to stay in the Coral Bay area. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay on St. John. One of the best perks of staying here is the property manager Joy. Joy was a tremendous resource with dining, nightlife, and snorkeling recommendations. She even sourced some local lobster that we grilled at the villa. It was fantastic. Thanks Joy! This is an outstanding property owned/managed by people who want you to have the best experience while you're there.

Best Vacation Ever
Everything about this villa and our trip to St. John was magical! The villa is exactly as described and pictured and maybe ever better! We met Joy Graw, the on-island manager, on the first evening during check-in and she was wonderful and shared lots of great tips for our trip! We went sailing and snorkeling with her and her partner Rob the next day and she also took us on her dingy to visit Lime Out the day after - both so much fun! We could not have had a better visit on the island thanks to Joy's hospitality and Lois' helpful information and amazing villa! This villa truly has the best view to wake up to every morning and everything you need. The beach towels, noodles, chairs, coolers, tumblers, etc. that were provided were so great and we used it all everyday on our trips to the beach! Thank you Joy, Rob, and Lois for your kindness and hospitality! We can't wait to visit St. John again! :)

Perfection in paradise!
The pictures simply do not do it justice. The view is stunning and the property is very well equipped. The host and property manager were extremely responsive and went out of their way to make our trip celebrating a milestone birthday extraordinary. We can't wait to return!

A slice of paradise
We recently had an unforgettable stay at the villa and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The breathtaking views from the villa, both during the day and at night, left us in awe. Villa with a view
My husband and I stayed at Villa Celeste last year for our honeymoon and we couldn’t wait to get back! We revisited for our anniversary because we were so happy with our stay. A Week in Paradise
The villa was absolutely beautiful. Views of the bay and surrounding area were stunning. The outside deck was large and private, with an outdoor shower. Joy, the property manager really made our stay special. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and snorkeling sites. She even took us to Lime Out in her dinghy. We’ve stayed several times in Cruz Bay, but this was our first time in Coral Bay. We can’t wait to come back and stay at villa Celeste.

Amazing Views
Our stay at the Villa Celeste was wonderful. The entire property was beautiful and afforded the privacy we value! We loved the views and the comfort of the villa. St. John is our happy place and we have vacationed here many times. Your villa was one of the best...and we will certainly return. The highlights of the villa are: the views, the pool, comfortable bed, outside shower, air conditioning and the fully stocked kitchen. We rarely ate out because dining on the deck was spectacular. Our stay here made celebrating our 36th anniversary even more special. Also...Joy was an amazing property manager. We hope to avail ourselves of her snorkel trips on our next visit! This was our third stay on the island and this stay quickly became our favorite. Perfect Villa for a romantic getaway. Everything we dreamed for. Being on this side of the island was a fun change. 5 stars for this villa! Perfect place to stay to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful views and great location in Coral Bay! The villa was equipped with everything we needed for the week. Spectacular View!
This property was just as described, with stunningly beautiful views and a great deal of quiet and privacy. It was well-equipped and provided a spacious bathroom. My only suggestion would be another light source in the main room as it was a little dim at night for our older eyes. That being said, it was so peaceful and relaxing that we had to make ourselves leave each day for the various beaches!

Honeymoon stay at Villa Celeste
This property is absolutely amazing! A quick ride up the mountain road from town and we were in our own little paradise that felt like a private escape. The views are breathtaking from the bedroom and the deck, and it is fully equipped with everything you need from rocking chairs to loungers, pool/beach floats, kitchen items and beauty. The pictures are stunning, but it is nothing compared to the real thing - even better than we imagined! The best part of the trip was the property manager, Joy, and her friendliness to us. She invited us to several restaurants in town to see live music, told us everything we need to know about beaches and scuba spots on the island, and made us feel very at home in coral bay! We would highly recommend the extra money to be welcomed by Joy and learn about all the island has to offer when you arrive, as well as be shown the way to the house - very worth our while and prepared us for the week. We also took advantage of Joy’s sailboat, Harmony, for a day with Captain Rob and the mermaid, Joy herself, to learn all about the local reefs and get to some more unique spots to snorkel! From stories to the lunch provided on the boat it was great! Joy also took us to limeout in the bay one day for the most unique lunch of our lives. Between an amazing property that is very well kept, and a property manager who is happy to be your personal island guide, Villa Celeste is the perfect spot for a honeymoon or any other get away!! 11/10!

Relaxing and Amazing
First of all a special Thank You to Joy! She helped with any questions and was usually ahead of us with information. Response time was immediate. The home was better than the pics. It was clean, the pool was perfect, you were provided all that you need but the food, and the view was something you will never forget! As for St John, you will not want to leave. We have made the trip the last few years and this was the best yet. We have tried all of the beaches, but for us we stuck to Salt Pond, Francis, Oppenheimer, and Cinnamon. The best snorkeling on these beaches are at the rocks on the ends. Some of the beaches you can spot turtles in the middle grassy areas. Coral Bay has several restaurant selections, but our favorites are Surf Cantina and Salty Mongoose. Both are directly below the home on the beach. If you make it in to Cruz Bay for breakfast, Cruz Bay Landing has the best skillets. Greengos is great for lunch or dinner, and St John Scoops has the best ice cream. Between Coral and Cruz we found Windmill Bar on top of the mountain looking down on Cuz and across to St Thomas. Amazing food and fun and a great view of the sunset. If you want a seat on the live cam you have to get there around 4 to 4:30. Sunset is around 7, but we has a lot of fun notifying family members and friends that we were on the cam and could interact with them. St. John is the most beautiful place and this home was the best base to enjoy it all from. Thank you Lois and Joy!

Awesome!!!
We fell in love with the place as soon as we opened the gate and saw the magnificent views and huge patio!! The place was stocked well, very clean and Joy was fabulous to work with. She took us on a private snorkeling trip to Hurricane Hole and invited us to Miss Lucy's for supper. We can't wait to make a trip back. Highly recommend!!!!

Lovely views and comfortable Villa. Quiet side of the island. Hansen Beach to swim, snorkel and kayak was great. Reef Bay Trail / 2 mile walk (down hill) with National Park Service was very interesting, not difficult and boat ride with swim at end makes it a full day excursion. Joy was helpful, we will plan a trip with her next time. Lois shared lots of good information prior to our arrival. We will come here again.

Best view ever!!
We could stare out at our view of Coral Bay forever!! Morning, afternoon, evening: it was picture perfect!! We appreciated the lovely touches from the host- fresh flowers throughout the villa, a souvenir canvas and champagne!! We loved the country feel of staying on this side of the island, and enjoyed exploring the whole island by Jeep during the day. We hiked Ram’s Head, checked out all the great beaches, and had a super fun afternoon of floating drinks and tacos (thanks to Joy!) at Limeout!! Open mic night at Miss Lucy’s was a blast and live music from Mike Forgette (@4jetti) at sunset at The Windmill were highlights for us. We even met some fellow CT peeps at the airport in NY and met them for dinner at Rhumb Lines- holy moly, the best Pad Thai!! Thanks for everything!! We had an amazing week!!

Perfect for Two
My wife and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this amazing property. It is designed perfectly for one couple and had everything we needed for an awesome hang and base of operations on the east side of St John. This was our third time to the island and definitely love the chill vibe of Coral Bay. Be prepared for a steep drive to the villa (all pavement) and a steep driveway down to a parking pad, but you get used to it in no time (like driving on the left!). A four wheel drive Jeep worked perfect for us. We never tired of the amazing views whether inside or outside. Everything was clean and the villa is well appointed from a small but well stocked kitchen to beach chairs and even binoculars for bird/iguana watching and unbelievable star gazing from the patio. We had a slight hiccup when the gas stove ran out of propane but Ted (owner) replaced it within minutes. That lead to Ted giving us some great island tips that we followed and greatly appreciated. We loved our stay at the Villa Celeste and hope to visit again!

Amazing views on the other side of the island
This was our first time staying in the Coral Bay area. The unit was comfortable and just as described, with everything you need for an enjoyable time in paradise. But it is the view that makes this villa so special. Each day begins with a beautiful sunrise over multiple bays, and we were fortunate to have a few evenings to watch the just as remarkable rise of a full moon. The outdoor space was arranged to take full benefit of the view, whether sitting in the lounge chairs, eating in the deck or rocking in the covered porch. In March, we found the pool a little to cool for our enjoyment, but is probably just right in the summer months. Coral Bay offers a very different experience of St. John. It’s much less busy that Cruz Bay and feels like a quaint seaside village. Of course that also means that shopping and eating options are limited — and their hours are sporadic. The location offers an invitation to enjoy the East End of the island — like the tranquil Hansen Bay beach — while still providing good access to the North Shore beaches.

Incredible!
My husband and I came to Villa Celeste for our Honeymoon and it truly was the most amazing vacation we could of ever imagined. From waking up every morning and seeing the sunrise from bed to sitting in the chaise lounges on the patio every second was nothing short of amazing. The villa is the perfect distance to the town of Coral Bay (which we are SO glad we chose to stay in Coral Bay!). We had so much fun going to Johnny Lime and playing Bingo, taking the shuttle boat to Lime Out, music at the Salty Mongoose and more! Joy (house manager) and Lois (owner) are unbelievably wonderful! The driveway is steep so Joy met us for the Meet and Greet service which we highly recommend. She went through everything going on downtown for the week and really helped us navigate our first trip up to the villa. Lois and her husband were two of the sweetest people and we love that we got the chance to meet and chat with them! If you are thinking about booking Villa Celeste just do it!! It truly is a little slice of heaven! We will surely be back!

Romantic spot overlooking the bay
This place doesn't look real in our pictures. It's this cozy little house for two that overlooks a bay from an incredible vantage point. The bed is super comfy, the decoration is simple but warm, and the entire place shows the 15 years of effort that went into the property. We met the owners and property manager at open mic night down at Miss Lucy's and they shared some of their island favorites with us. The house is less than a 20 minute drive from every single beach on St. John and is a great spot to see everything. Just about perfect in every way.

After spending a lot of time looking at properties on St. John and now staying here I can say that Lois’s place is hard to beat. I rented snorkel gear down the hill from Crabbies and was in the water for hours at a time each day. The coral and beaches are unmatched. I hope to return

Awesome view
Place was awesome view. We will miss it. Just enough space for two. We elected to have joy meet us to show us how to get there. She was big help. The pool is salt and not heated. Was bummed about that. Spacious deck for both sun and shade. We were there for two weeks. Only had one day that electricity went out. Place has back up generator. But when electric goes out whole island so does wifi. So we went to beach that day. If u rent a Jeep from st Thomas and ferry over on car barge. Make sure u get on same company going back. There are more than one. And if u get on wrong one u will pay extra. Definitely need a Jeep if u are going to do any driving around island. Beaches are awesome. Trunk beach is world famous but I think I liked cinnamon beach better. They both have restrooms,showers, restaurants, drinks, souviners. Maho beach has all but showers. Those 3 beaches are best ( my opinion). U have to pay 5,00 pp at trunk bay to get in. All have small parking. So get there EARLY to park.all roads are hilly winding curves. For Some may be challenging or others fun. Gas / hot deli / grocery store mid way from Cruze bay to coral bay is good. We did a lot of driving around and packed a lunch. We had a great time and would go back. AWESOME VIEW.

A Honeymoon we will never forget!
Staying at Villa Celeste Vista made our honeymoon truly special -- we wish we would have booked it longer but we will certainly be back! The villa is spacious, clean and modern. The pictures don't do it justice and it has everything you could possibly need. It has an incredible view and outdoor space that makes the villa unforgettable. We had a lot of privacy and felt very safe. Lois was extremely helpful and responsive during our booking process and thereafter. And her villa manager, Joy, was such a lovely addition to the villa making the experience truly special. She helped us make the most out of our stay and we can not wait to return. We highly recommend Villa Celeste Vista and the Coral Bay/St. John area.

Amazing and expansive view!
This property is truly epic! I can’t think of any other place I have stayed in the world with a view this amazing and expansive! It was so magical to sit up there at night and listen to the beautiful jungle sounds and watch the weather roll in! I really can’t say enough about how great it was! Very awesome!

A True Paradise!
Estate Carolina is truly a paradise in itself. The villa is modern, updated, and comfortable, and the views are nothing short of spectacular. We woke up and went to bed in awe of the view every day! Lois was so helpful and responsive throughout the booking process and Joy, the property manager, was great too! The villa has so much privacy- we only ever met our neighbors in the driveway! This property was perfect for us. We especially appreciated the pool and open deck for star-gazing. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. Never been to STJ before, but glad we stayed in Coral Bay - we enjoyed the adventurous Jeep driving and relaxed atmosphere there.

Beautiful stay in Coral Bay
Beautiful property with amazing views that never get old. It was our first time in St John and we had such an amazing time. The beaches were gorgeous, and the villa had everything we needed for a day at the beach. Cinnamon Bay was our favorite, but it’s hard to choose with so many great beaches. We hiked to the top of Rams Head, and also did the Reef Bay Trail. If you like to hike, I highly recommend! We even had a torrential downpour one night ( which is now Hurricane Nicole) but it didn’t put a damper on the trip. We enjoyed just staying in the villa watching Netflix and cooking steaks on the grill while listening to the rain. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is two great markets nearby and good restaurants. We especially loved Rhumblines and Skinny Legs. Miss Lucy’s is also a fun bar with great live music. Thank you Joy for all your suggestions. We hope to come back some day!

Wonderful cottage, everything as pictured and advertised. Met all expectations. A bit difficult to locate, but area was perfect for quiet get away, with gorgeous view and all amenities. Adequate shopping nearby. Best spot on the island.

Stunning property in Coral Bay!
My husband and I just stayed at this property last week and we absolutely loved it! Lois and Joy were amazing to work with even though we have been on island a few times before, it was good to know that they were there for us, especially since we ended up having to leave a day early due to Tropical storm/hurricane Fiona. We have rented through VRBO before and had a good experience, but this was above and beyond anything we expected! The pictures do not do the home justice…it’s absolutely more beautiful than you can imagine! The view is beyond words, the property was sparkling clean and very cute,
