The resort is well laid out but is showing signs of wear and tear. The hot tub didn’t work until the last day of our week there. They have played Jenna with other features. They used to have a high end coffee and hot drink machine. That has been replaced with a cheaper and more basic one, with fewer options. Less staff available and the main building closed overnight. The World Golf Hall of Fame is no longer in the adjacent facility and the whole space feels like a ghost town. The people who are there are nice, but be ready for the timeshare hard sell when you get your parking pass. We were there during the Player’s Championship and be warned that the local golf courses double their prices, which are already steep. Overall though, the place is still a good option for couples or a small family.

It was noisy with construction truck peeping all day. You can hear people talking in hallway and kids screaming. Was not a very quiet getaway. The property is gorgeous and lots to do.

Everything was perfect, the amenities are top notch, the pool area is great for everyone, they have games for the kids and all the equipment available if you want to play pickle ball, tennis or basketball. Our room was spotless, it was like a studio apartment, my wife & I had our privacy while the kids played, the balcony was perfect to seat out at night and enjoy the night. This will be our new place to come and stay when we come to St. Augustine..

The location was great, the walkability factor was a major plus, especially the location on the course and the walkway to the village and nearby restaurants. The room was smaller than pictured and not clean (hadn't been dusted in months, didn't smell clean and the room on the first floor had an infestation of roaches so we had to move rooms). The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful in moving us to a new room. Amenities could be better kept. Basketball was punctured. Nature preserve area appeared dead/dying. Pool area was fine but smaller than pictured.

The exterior of the property looked very nice and well maintained. Our unit was very lack-luster. We have stayed at Fairfield properties that have been much nicer and cost a lot less. The kitchen cabinets have been painted and are chipped. The oven is a complete piece of garbage and OLD. It had a popcorn ceiling and the living room space wasn't inviting whatsoever. Our unit faced that back of a stairwell and the garbage can. There were bags for recycling, but there wasn't a receptacle to discard them in. Of course, we were encouraged to attend their meetings about becoming an owner. LOL! I wouldn't invest in this if it was my last dime.

Amazing. Quiet. Clean. Affordable.
Amazing. There is no other word for it. The property, the staff, the amenities were all amazing. We stayed in a one bedroom balcony room overlooking the corner of a lake. It was quiet, comfortable, larger than expected and the price was affordable. The village is located in a quiet and clean larger neighborhood and close to major highways. It was perfect.

Right away I was concerned.
I received an email from the resort stating that they were understaffed, and my room might not be ready by check in. I called the resort and they assured me the room would be ready, since they could make a notation that it would be for an early check in. I got a call at 1:30 to tell me my room was ready. I arrived at 4:00, checked in, went to my room to find it still a mess from the last guests. I had to go back and get reassigned to a new room, which was disappointing, since my original room was on the ground floor, and the new room was on the third floor, right next to the stairs they were repairing. The room was okay, the bed was comfortable enough. We had to wash our pool towels, and they barely fit in the machine. The spin cycle was so loud with even the smallest load. I thought the push for the time share sales pitch was a little excessive. And, was highly suspicious of the fact that they ' forgot' to give me a parking pass to get me to come back to the concierge desk to get one. My overall stay was okay, but nothing special. For the amount i paid, i would rather have stayed at a real resort, not a time share.

Decent room but a timeshare scam
This is a timeshare for Bluegreen. They don’t advertise it when you book the room, but when you arrive they try to tell you that you HAVE to attend a sales meeting. We did not go because we booked through Hotels.com and did not agree to anything when we booked. If they want to sell people some crappy timeshare, they need to be forced off of these booking sites.

Great getaway for couples
Building 4 is obviously a little tired but I see they are renovating building 3. Everything was very clean and in good working order. Great getaway for romance with a golf fanatic! Grounds and ambience are wonderful. Everyone at the museum was super friendly and informative. Lots to do. Wish you rented bicycles. Since the 18 hole putting course is no more, it would be fun for non-awesome golfers to do something active.

Beautiful property as usual, we have stayed here 4 times previous and we knew this was the hotel we wanted to be in for our wedding weekend. Unfortunately we arrived to the hotel and received the wrong room. We need the larger Deluxe room for the wedding party to get ready in. When this problem was trying to be fixed the hotel had no solutions anf told me to contact Expedia. They where rude and not apologetic. This really was a terrible start to the best weekend of our life. The hotel moved our room the next day but still made us feel like it was our fault and took no responsibility for the issue.

Great Golfing area - Mediocre Accommodations
The resort pool is wonderful and the golf course is beautiful. Other than golfing and swimming, there is not much to do, few shoppes and restaurants. Resort is isolated and about 20 minutes to St. Augustine. The small kitchen was well-equipped and the bed were comfy. The decor is somewhat dated and very dark (mostly chocolate brown). Kitchen floor tiles were cracked across the room and a roach was in my husband's shoe in the morning (gross). We also found the check-in was heavy-handed requiring signing statements on warnings of rules and additional fees, having to wait in a second line for information on the site, and having to wait till 4pm to check-in.

Amazing weekend getaway
Weather was amazing! This hotel offers so many on site attractions. It feels like you should be paying twice the amount! I will be staying her for every trip to saint Augustine.

The room, was very nice! The gated community really make you feel welcomed, safe, and the staff was awesome! I decided this would be one of my location spots just to get away and relax! There's plenty to do in the area from shopping, dining, and entertainment without leaving the immediate area. Kids would enjoy the stay as well.
