Eclipse Getaway
We stayed at this cottage for the weekend before the eclipse and had a wonderful time! 4 adults and 2 young kids and more than enough to do to keep everyone entertained and happy. Loved the use of the water toys and bikes, and the cottage comes stocked with everything you could need. Bart is extremely responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

Nature vacation
Gorgeous lake, quiet and serene. Private. House well equipped with all you would need. Close to provincial parks and half an hour from Kingston. Ladder to the lake from the dock could be longer. Difficult to get out of lake. Separate shower would be great. Easier access than tub. Bath mat in tub would prevent slipping.

Great cottage!
Great location, all kinds of outdoor and indoor amenities. We enjoyed watching the local wild life, and fishing off dock was ok. Totally pleased, we'd recommend and would rent again. Only issue was carrying our stuff down then up the outside stairs. Anybody with accessibility issues would have a challenge.

Good experience at Bart's cottage in Verona
We were very happy with our stay at Bart’s lovely cottage in Verona. Great location right on the lake. Beautiful view. Plus, there are lots of amenities nearby, which was great. The place is nicely done, newly renovated and equipped with everything you can think of. It’s very clean and comfortable, has AC, heat & good Wifi. Big TV & different ways to watch movies. Lots of board games. The kitchen is modern and has just about everything in it. It was also great to have the washer and dryer at hand. There is a separate game room where you can exercise, play pool, darts, foosbol and other games. It has AC & heat. We were glad for the gazebo that has netting all around to help protect us from the mosquitos. Bart, although we never met him face to face, was an excellent host who made sure that our every need was met. He was always prompt to reply and swift to get things done. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Bart for everything.

Summer vacation at Verona Lake
Very comfortable cottage, well-maintained. Kitchen very well stocked with almost everything a cook might need. Exceptions a grater and a whisk- not bad at all! Host was attentive, swimming was better at the beach if you hate weeds. We swam off the dock but also paddled to the beach with the cottage’s two kayaks, canoe and 4- person rubber dinghy. Secure fire pit on concrete and a tent gazebo I was easy to find a comfortable place to relax. Lovely sunsets. My only concern was accessibility since I have an arthritic knee. It wasn’t a problem for my family. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Serene, peaceful and a memorable place
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, the views, amenities, and the peacefulness we all got to experience was memorable. We particularly love the seclusion as we try to have a quiet and spend quality time as a family, and the property is the perfect spot. We all had a wonderful-restful time. Additionally, Bart was amazing, prompt, and caring. He offered to install the air-conditioned early as it was unprecedentedly hot temperature the days we were there; thank you for your thoughtfulness. We hope to go back in the next few months and book the cottage on a yearly basis.

Great location!
I am from BC and travelled to Ontario for an all family “ weekend. The water was a bit chilly at this time of year but some of us still swam. The canoe/kayaks were a hit with all of us enjoying at the same time. Water was clear enough to see turtles and fish The cottage itself was beautiful and very well organized for visitors. Lots of private space inside. The fire pit and outside seating was perfect for family fun. A great place to stay.

Great spot in Frontenac
First of all, Bart is wonderful. He was very communicative and responded quickly to any questions. The location was easy to get to from Toronto, easy access up to Ganonoque, which is where we had originally wanted to be, but couldn't find a spot up there. The house was great for our family of 5. It was clean and had all cooking pans, pots, etc. The pellet stoves warmed everywhere that we needed warmed. The Wii was a big hit with the kids, as was the separate garage with the pool table and darts.
