Cozy, friendly B&B
Casa Ferrari is a cozy home base for exploring Sofia. Ludmil is an engaging host, knowledgeable about history and sites that may be of interest. The personal touch was nice.

One of the owners was very nice! He picked me up from the airport for a minimal fee! He prepared a breakfast for me, he’s a good conversationalist and knows the history of this country and I also feel secure in his property and neighborhood!

My new home away from home
I am very thankful to Ludmil, the owner and happy I chose this place. Traveling by my self and physically challenged, 60 y/o, it was plausible even for me, to get everywhere walking. Ludmil gives you a very thorough background of the history of Bulgaria, a taste of the Bulgarian delicacies as part of breakfast and is willing to accommodate you in any way he can. Thank you Ludmil, for making it a home away from home for me. I warmly recommend the place.

Before booking I wasn't sure about this choice but the host is very friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable. You can try out Bulgarian breakfasts and it's well located near the tourist sites. Definitely recommend!

Great peaceful location
Excellent location, very quiet and close to the centre of the city. It was only about 10 minutes walking from the nearest metro. The host was wonderful and gave me a very good summary on Bulgarian history and his pride in his country was evident. Went on the walking tour of Sofia which was excellent.

Ludmil is a wonderful host. He picked us up at the airport, drove us to an out-of-town monastery and gave us loads of information. His knowledge of Bulgarian history was great & he has a wonderful way of sharing the information. The B&B is in an excellent location, super clean and breakfast was smashing! Thanks Ludmil - you rock!

Three room B&B located on a quiet street.
The owner was friendly and spoke perfect English. He picked us up from the airport and give us a car tour of the city. He helped us ordering a taxi to take us back to the airport in the early morning hours.

Great B&B not far from the heart of the city.
Nice little B&B with a great host who was keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The B&B is around a 10-15 minute walk from the downtown area. Typical Bulgarian breakfast is on offer and you can tell the owner what sort of food you would like. The B&B has a kitchen for guests. Ideal for string water, juice, beer, wine and food (sensible fridge quantities). Downtown Sofia is pretty cool. Be sure to do one of the guided walks.

wonderful bed and breakfast
I had a great stay at the hotel for three nights. The room was very clean and comfortable and was located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The owner of the bed and breakfast is very kind and friendly and offers a lot of interesting information about the history of Bulgaria. The best part of my stay was the wonderful breakfast that was offered (authentic Bulgarian breakfast dishes combined with delicious coffee). The only (slight) negative to the hotel is the location - a bit far from the city center (a 30-minute walk to the Alexander Nevsky cathedral) but, if you don't mind that, it's definitely a great place to stay.

Lovely B&B in Central Sofia
This is a nice, comfortable B&B within walking distance of the centre of Sofia. Ludmil, the owner, picked us up from the airport and gave us an interesting tour/history lesson of Sofia en route. Breakfast is traditional Bulgarian. I would definitely stay here next time I am in Sofia.

One night stay at this place. I have arranged for Ludmil (The owner) to pick me up from the airport and he was there waiting on time. After that he told me a fantastic story about Sofia while we are on our way to the B&B. The B&B is walking distance to many places in Sofia.- And in the morning Ludmil baked me traditional pasty which was very nice. Overall I recommend this place if you want to stay in a cozy place with very nice owner in an amazing city!

Great stay in Sofia
We had such a lovely stay in Sofia. The host was so obliging and helpful. He suggested places to visit , restaurants to eat in. He wanted us to feel completely at home, and we did. He organised both taxis to and from the airport. It is a small b and b, with only three bedrooms. We got to know the other guests at 8.30 am breakfast. Pastries from the local bakery were provided. The neighbourhood of the b and b is interesting. 10 minutes walk from the main street of the Old town. We were so happy wandering in the little side streets full of corner shops and fascinating cafes and bars. I loved the Alexander Nevsky church and the National Gallery of Art. Dining out is inexpensive and offers so much choice. We ate lots of Bulgarian delicacies.

We had a large, clean, quiet room. The proprietor, Ludmil, is very friendly and knowledge. He made us feel right at home. Breakfasts were great - different Bulgarian specialties every day. The location is walking distance to many attractions.

Casa Ferrari is a 3 bedroom flat, within 5-10 walking distance of the historic town centre. Lovely welcome, and guided tour of the city as Ludmil was driving us from the airport, who provides excellent recommendations of what to visit and is passionate about sharing Sofia's history...

I really loved this place. And the host Ludmil was a true Gentleman nothing was too much trouble for him. The place was spotlessy clean lovely beds and linen and kitchen and sitting areas. All Ludmil was concerned about was that his quests were happy. He prepaired us a different breakfast every day of traditional Bulgarian food which was very nice. You could get to most places by walking. Nice Restruants take aways and supermarkets near by. Take Ludmils advice only use OK Taxis they are good and will never rip you off.

Interesting Stay at Cafe Ferrari
Ludmil met us at the airport and gave us a running history tour of Bulgaria as we drove through Sofia to his Casa Ferrari B&B. He and his wife were most welcoming and helpful. Since we are not familiar with the Cyrillic Alphabet we relied on them to help us organize our side trips. Staying at Casa Ferrari was a wonderful start to our visit to Bulgaria.

Ludmil met us personally when we arrived at the B&B. He made sure we know everything needed about the room, helped us know the city and gave us the perfect recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Ludmil is a very friendly, knowledgeable and curious person; so more than anything, we enjoyed our conversations during breakfast. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, cosy and very nicely decorated, at a good location, with the most nice and flexible host. What a Gem
Casa Ferrari is an amazing gem tucked away in Sofia. Ludmil is so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable he really made our trip so much better by helping advise us on how to get places and what to see and do. I was there with my Girlfriend and it was a lovely romantic spot with beautiful furniture and comfortable beds. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough and I want to reinforce Casa Ferrari's stellar online reputation with my review!

This was the perfect place to stay in Sofia - extremely welcoming and friendly owners; on a quiet side street but near all main places of interest in the city; a most relaxing atmosphere for a break - not an impersonal chain hotel.

My stay at Casa Ferrari was a perfect way to spend a long weekend in Sofia. I was so comfortable and felt safe day and night. Why would you stay in a big impersonal hotel when a B&B like Casa Ferrari offers a touch of heart and insight into a traditional Bulgarian way of life?!

A estadia foi excelente, casa muito bem localizada, com limpeza impecável e conforto muito bom. O anfitrião, Ludmil, faz por si só fazer valer a pena. É um búlgaro que domina a história do seu país e que a conta em todos os momentos com uma paixão e conhecimento assinalável. Somos uma família de 4 (2 adultos 2 crianças de 13 e 10) e gostamos muito.
