Perfect check in thanks to wonderful Sarah. Great pub food, fantastic breakfasts, comfortable beds. Brilliant stay in historic property. Highly impressive. First class.

It's convenient for Heathrow airport parking for all terminals. We have stayed here twice before when it was owned by Shepherd Neame but since it changed hands it appears no maintenance work has been carried out. Our room had polystyrene attached below the sink witch I assume was covering missing tiles, the sink had a hair line crack in it and the lower grouting in the shower was discoloured, something a good scrub with mould and mildew killer would sort out. The food available in the bar/restaurant lacked choice and was below par compared to the food they used to serve.

Very nice accommodation for flights at Heathrow. Bedrooms well equipped, clean and very comfortable bed. I was a little disappointed with the dining experience, both dinner and breakfast. I felt I had to ask for items that should have accompanied the meals.

The Ostrich Inn is conveniently located near Heathrow Airport. We enjoyed our idiosyncratic room with the large bathroom. The restaurant décor was quite charming.

This property has a lot of heritage. It was really neat staying in a hotel of that vintage yet with updated accommodations. The dining area was most enjoyable and the food excellent. There was easy public access to terminal five, which is why we rented a room there. Other than that, there is not much to do in the area close by.

It's a unique old building with comfortable rooms. The rooms are away from the bar but you can still easily hear guests going into the rooms across from you and the sound does carry through a bit from above.

We loved staying here, and wished we had booked more than one night! We all felt cozy and when we called ahead, we were able to check in early, which was fantastic.

The Ostrich Inn was the perfect place for our final evening in the UK. We had a lovely pub dinner, an excellent sleep in our spacious room, and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the inn. Getting to Heathrow for our early morning flight could not have been easier. We will be back!

Old World History meets Present Day Luxury
I absolutely loved this Inn- super friendly staff, with great food and drinks at the restaurant. The locals come here too; one of them walked me through the space and shared his memories of it over the years. My room was huge and had terrific amenities. So close to Heathrow so made an early morning departure much easier. Highly recommend this incredible historic inn, especially if you're looking for something in close proximity to Heathrow or Windsor.

Excellent place to stay before flying out from Heathrow. Great evening meal and breakfast. Much better than staying in a purpose built airport hotel. Will definitely use again when travelling from Heathrow

We enjoyed our stay here. This hotel has such an interesting history. We were comfortable. We ate in the dining room and the food was delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We took an Uber to the airport in the morning. It cost us £16 plus £5 fee for the Uber to be able to drop us off at the airport. We’d definitely stay at this hotel again.

If you want something authentically English not hotel chain with a combination of historic interest, quirky build and modern convenience then this is a must!!! It’s not perfect but a property this old why should you expect that?? It’s immaculately clean and perfect for purpose with understanding, tentative staff who clearly love the property

Alternative overnight
This is our third visit, always to meet an early morning plane with grandchildren... The Ostrich is just a much more lively and interesting pace to overnight than a standard chain hotel !

Absolutely worth the stay! The best part of the experience was the service we got from Sree at the bar and dinner. Food was mid at best, but the drinks, dessert, and atmosphere made up for it x10. Our room was ADORABLE, however there was no secondary lock on the door which is concerning for three female travelers. The bed was horrific, we slept horribly, and when we did were awoken by the springs creaking. The room was also on the street side and we could hear every car that went by. If you bring a sound machine and are fine with an uncomfy bed this place would be perfect. All in all, would stay again for the cutesy experience.

I want to start off by saying the staff were incredibly nice and helpful with our stay. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in had major issues with the pipes for the radiator heaters. Our troubles began at 2AM when the pipes began to vibrate uncontrollably with an extremely load noise. There was no way to shut them off. This continued for the next couple of hours. Eventually they quieted down to a soft noise, but you could still hear them. After several phone calls to the number listed on the website, we were able to speak to someone that was offsite. The hotel manager was very helpful, but could not figure out the issue. She did offer another room, but we were just too tired to move all of our belongings and the sound eventually became quieter several hours later. Apparently, this was just occurred in the Apartment Room located above the dining room. The hotel is very unique probably quite pleasant, but I would not stay in the large apartment room until the radiator piping is fixed.
