Food was great and views were amazing. But we encountered issues with the beds during our initial check-in. The beds were very old, lacked support, and had a musky smell - resulting in poor sleep. We were told that Hoshino Resorts had only recently taken over the property and that it is due for an overhaul and refurbishment soon. We hope the resort replaces the beds eventually. Notably, a hotel manager by the name of Mei went the extra mile to ensure that we were made comfortable and to address our feedback. Her service recovery, customer mindedness and care really saved our stay.

Great combo of ski and non-ski facilities. Nice amenities such as cafe lounge hotel guests with free flowing sake or hot milk. The connecting skyways are fun and practical. Ice village was neat and so was the cable cars to the top of the hills. Choice of restaurants are adequate. All in all a we had a very fulfilling stay.

Great place to stay
Nice place to stay for Ski and other activities as they all located in a resort, bus pick up from the station, unkai rides and pass is included in the hotel charge. Nice staff and ski coaching are very friendly. Restaurants are load3d with many people during peak hours and long waiting que.

The room was nice, big and clean. We stayed for 3 days and we used almost all the facilities that were available. During the date we were there, the snow sport stuffs are not operating. So we only played with the snow. The hotel can be a bit too crowded and there were not so many choices for food (we did not want to eat at the all-u-can-eat buffet) and the queue can be frustrating especially during dinner time since some restaurants only open for lunch. There is no typical convenience store but they have a shop which sells merchandise and cup noodles/drinks/fruit/snacks. Was expecting some simple bento but the best one they had was the typical convi store sandwiches which are only available in the morning. We had a bit of a problem when we asked the information staff on what time we should take the shuttle bus to Tomamu train station. I think she was not really well-conversed in English so there was a bit of misunderstanding and we almost had to wait for 1 hour in the snow. Luckily we double checked the schedule with another staff.

The accessibility to wifi was really bad. The bandwidth looks to be operating at its maximum limit and to connect to the wifi and accessing the internet pages took more than a few minutes to get through a single page and sometimes it could even timed out. And the bedsheets were not really clean as well. Traces of blood stains could be observed.

My aim to stay here was to gain convenience to ride the gondola to enjoy the sea of clouds..but there was an earthquake that ruin my plan..n wasted my money:(

Great hotel with big rooms
Nice hotel with big compound for loads of activities and restaurants. Language is no problem. Rooms are big with nice views. All the buffet and dinning experience are great. One of the best hotels in our 2weeks holiday. Will be back for the unkai which we missed despite wakimg up at 4am and going up the terrace on both days of ue stay.

トマム初滞在
クリスマスに初めて星野リゾートを利用しました。全体的には満足度の高い滞在となりました。ザ.タワー2の31階で眺望は最高。 陽当たりが非常に良いので、外は氷点下10°にも関わらずかなり暖かくて、夏はとても暑いのではと少し心配になるくらいでした。 レストランは別の建物にあるのでバスかスカイブリッジでの移動になりますが、どちらも特に問題なく、レストランの味のクオリティ、サービスともに満足出来る内容でした。 意外に良かったのが露天風呂で、内湯が無いので寒い的な口コミが散見されていたのですが、シャワー&サウナスペースからすぐに露天風呂に繋がっているのでそれ程寒くなく、深々と積もった雪景色の中で入る露天風呂は最高な気持ち良かったです。 建物の古さはありますが、清潔感は全体に保たれており、アクティビティの豊富さもありスキーをしなくても充分楽しめる宿だと思います。

居室のエアコンが個別に調節できない。コントローラーがついているところは個別に調節できると書かれていたが、実際は一括調整とのこと。また、ベッドはボロボロ。 人には進められない。

コロナの影響か部屋にカップの用意が無かったが、フロントに連絡する事で人数分のカップを用意してくれた。 オフシーズンの平日だったためなのか朝食のレストランが2店舗のみしか開いていなくて混雑気味だったのが残念。

他のレストランの開店時間をチェックアウトの時間と一緒にするか早めにしてほしい。チーズケーキ持ち帰りたかったのに、チェックアウトしてから1時間も待たないと買えないなんて時間の使わせ方が下手なのかなって思った。

あまり良くなかった点 １、冷蔵庫にカビがあり清掃してもらった。(特に陳謝なし) ２、天井のクロスが結構剥がれていた。 ３、鍵式(カードでないので面倒) ４、雲海始発ゴンドラに乗るために朝３時に駅に到着。正門から待機していたが裏口にも入れる入り口があり、先をこされた。(情報がなく残念) ５、エレベーター数が客数に対してあっていない 良かった点 １、アイス終日無料提供 ２、ラムネ時間帯無料提供 ３、雲海ゴンドラまえ近し(バス循環もあり) ４、雲海ゴンドラは宿泊者無料 ５、豊富なレストラン数
