The hotel is conveniently located (walking distance from the Cathedral/Alcazar). The hotel reception was extremely helpful. Most importantly we enjoyed the free WiFi and a laptop in each room is definitely a plus. Room was small but clean and comfortable.

“Great hotel, superb location”

I was in Seville for business and extended my stay for several additional vacation days. I opted to stay at Petit Palace Canalejas rather than the conference hotel (Plaza de Armas) because it was in a nicely renovated 19th century building whereas the Plaza is a typical soulless modern building, put up for the Expo in 1992. Location: Petit Palace Canalejas is close (a 5 minute walk) to the main thoroughfare (Calle Arjona) but feels much more remote. Following this street for 15 minutes will take you to the site of the 1929 Exposition in Maria Luisa Park where you'll find the Museo Arqueologico (small and worth the visit). Along the route you'll find the Plaza de Toros and Torre del Oro and of course the beautiful park itself. Petit Palace Canalejas is a 10 minute walk from the elegant shopping street Calles Sierpes, 15 minutes to the Cathedral and Alcazar, and is even closer to the Museo De Bellas Artes (just around the corner). You're also close to two of the tourist information offices, and the main bus terminal with direct service to the Roman ruins at Italica/Santiponce (all within 5 minutes).

“Definitely recommended”

This hotel is superbly located on the edge of the shopping area and within easy reach of all the sights. For those like us who want to make trips into the surrounding country, the main bus station is also conveniently close. We had a family room which consisted of a (comfortable) double bed and bunk beds. Separate well-equipped bathroom, balcony, mini-bar, laptop with free internet access and even an exercise bike are all included. Four people in the room was somewhat cramped but there is a lounge area on the ground floor. The lift is very small and slow so we had to get used to walking up to the third floor. I can't comment on the breakfast because we always went out to one of the many nearby cafes. Despite the central position, it was quiet at night and the blackout-style curtains were very effective. Very enjoyable four-night stay.

“Great location”

Centrally positioned. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The room was clean and comfortable. Great to have free wireless internet (laptop in room). Breakfast very good. Other eating places within 2 minutes walk. Would definitely use the same hotel again.

“Superb hotel”

Great hotel. Really close to cafes and bars and only a walk away from the river and the tapas area over in Triana. Close also to all the sights in the centre. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

“Excellent hotel, facilities and location”

We were delighted with this hotel. Ideally situated in a lively and convenient part of Seville within easy reach of the main attractions and with good bars and eating places all around. The laptop and (really fast) internet connection were a real bonus. Many reviews have mentioned small rooms - we, obviously, only had one room but it was fine - plenty of room for the two of us, though storage space was very limited. It was spotless and cleaned efficiently every day.The stylish frosted glass bathroom door that doesn't actually close was fine for a couple but might be unnerving for a family - our room did have fold-down bunk beds which we were not using.Take care with the shower, its incredibly easy to flood the room if the hand-held hose is put back at the wrong angle and accidentally turned on! The room safe was easy to use and very effective.

“Hôtel Canalejas: très bien situé et très fonctionnel”

Séjour très agréable dans un hôtel très propre, très confortable et très fonctionnel (par exemple mise à disposition gratuite du micro ordinateur avec connexion internet/ salle de bains toute neuve) Le petit déjeunet est très complet et très bon, avec un personnel attentif et aimable. L'hôtel est en plein centre historique de Séville, donc très facile de naviguer à pied. Petit bémol: la chambre est petite (mais très suffisante pour 2) ainsi que la salle du petit déj

“Je conseille... mais pas le petit déjeuner, bien trop cher !!”

Rien à redire sinon un peu bruyant; remarquablement bien situés à qq centaines de mètres du centre historique.

“Would recommend - the only downside was street noise”

The only downside to this hotel was the considerable street noise, possibly due to it being the Christmas period. The Hotel was ideally situated within easy walking distance of attractions. We found plenty of reasonably priced places serving breakfast nearby. Room well maintained and cleaned daily with toiletries replenished. Great Power Shower. Complimentary Cava and sweets were left in our room on Christmas Eve with a note from the Management.
