Beautiful hotel, but too far from everywhere. Ants everywhere, the shower could flood the room due to poor bathroom design. We wiped the floor of the room! As it was flooded!

Grand stay
Arrived during a thunderstorm and our front office host was most charming and carried our large bags up to the second floor. The property itself has a great history and authenticity and stands apart from a new build hotel which is what we sought but it could do with a bit of an upgrade. Loved the ambience and the open courtyards but unfortunately the weather was not conducive to just lounging around and enjoying the peacefulness of the open areas and verandas. Breakfast was enjoyable and there are plenty of dining opportunities nearby as there are none at this property. In the old city and within easy walking distance of most attractions. Would stay again.

Charming and friendly hotel in Seville old town
Really happy with my stay. The hotel has a historic style and is beautiful, my room was quiet, spacious and comfortable and was excellent value. The receptionists I spoke to were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - not far from the airport and walking distance to all of the places I wanted to go. I will definitely be staying here again!

It was a lovely, dreamy, magical stay at the heart of the old city. We loved the character of the place, the friendliness of the staff, the room (room number 4), the lovely shops and bars nearby, and the great historic places next to it. The patios are a haven to rest and relax, you can enjoy the sun at the terrace, and it is simply the perfect escapade for a taste of XVII Seville.

Authentic andalucian interior . The patios are very enjoyable. Magnificent original from 16th century tiled staircase. Great location. Reasonable breakfast. We occupied two rooms. One room was in two levels and private roof terrace. All good but the stairs to the second level and the terrace for some people might be very chalenging. Luckily our party had fit people. No elevator on the property. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the stay.

Delightful!
Amazing hotel. Smells so good right when you walk in it just made me happy to be there. Booked it day of when our flight was cancelled, and it was delightful. Complimentary wine in the room, a terrace with beautiful view of the city and sunset! Wish there was WiFi in the rooms but it was a great stay!!

This is an historic and beautiful place in a good location for walking around old Seville. The superior room was lovely, quite grand with a massive bathroom and bath. Bed was large and comfortable.

Desde el hotel, imaginamos que esta puntuación se debe a que pretendía alojarse en una habitación doble siendo tres personas sin pagar el coste extra del tercer individuo, incluso negándose a firmar el registro policial obligatorio en España, teniendo incluso que convocar a la presencia policial en nuestro hotel para instarles a cumplir la ley. Desde el Hotel, nuestra recomendación de cara al futuro sería que prestase algo más de atención a los servicios que reserve en los alojamientos, no sólo de España, sino del mundo, ya que cuando nos comunicó su experiencia internacional viajando nos sorprendió su irrevocable resistencia a pagar por una tercera persona. A beautiful and characterful hotel arranged around traditional courtyards with trees and flowers, close to the historic centre of Seville. Good service and breakfast. Furnishings certainly not modern, but comfortable and part of the character instead.

This is a modest, quaint hotel with some old world charm. Situated in a house built originally in the 1500s, it’s beauty lies in the various internal tiled patios throughout the property. This is more like a 3-star hotel - though it claims 4 - because the room furnishings were a bit “worn” looking, and the bed was not particularly comfortable- rather hard in fact. The WiFi in our room and in the breakfast room area was unreliable, so if you need WiFi you should keep that in mind. The breakfast was good, though one day they ran out of fruits only one hour into the 2.5 hour breakfast time; on another the coffee machine broke also early during breakfast time and there was no backup alternative. Front desk staff however were very helpful and attentive and helped us get tickets to local sites.

Unique and full of character
This hotel is in the Santa Cruz area of Seville down a quiet side street and is within easy walking distance of all the main city historic sites. It is traditional and will appeal to anyone who enjoys personal and friendly service. All the rooms are individual and it is as far away from a corporate hotel as you can probably get. The hotel has a fascinating history and although it lacks some modern facilities it is wonderfully quirky and unique. Being a little further away from the city centre it offers good value for money and staff that are attentive, helpful and eager to please and advise. Thoroughly recommended unless you have some mobility issues or prefer a much more modern facility. The complimentary bottle of wine and the presence of a fridge were added bonuses.

This is an excellent boutique hotel with rooms and surroundings with enormous character. It is excellently positioned for the centre of historic Seville with immediate access on foot to all of the main sites. All of the surrounding streets are very narrow with little squares with bars, restaurants and shops. It is only 15 minutes walk from the main railway station with access to Cordoba, Granada, Cadiz, Madrid, etc. The breakfast is very good and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly.
