“Nice location”

Located conveniently at the currently "latest" subway stop along the expanding 9th Line. Also only blocks from shopping and tons of restaurants. Not to mention an area with great nightlife of Gangnam.

“Excellent balance of luxury and price”

I like the balance Novotels offer, between service, cleanliness and comfort, and price. The location of this hotel also is very convenient. Close to major streets with cafes, restaurants and bars, and close to a subway station, and is in a central location in Seoul. My wish would be to have Internet access included in the room fees. So many lower rated hotels include free Internet. Why not this one? Also, prices for food and drinks, especially coffee and tea, I find unusually high. Still, I keep going back.

“Perfectly fine, but over-priced.”

I have no complaints except that hotels are generally over-priced, and this hotel is no exception. Its not a particularly good value, but its a fine hotel.

“Hotel room was too warm - no AC”

Room was unbearably warm. The hotel said that the AC only goes on when the temperature outside rises. Room was very uncomfortable and only alternative at night was to open the window -- very noisy. Room was on the smaller size but comfortable and modern. Hotel breakfast buffet had the usual Western fare but lacked a good selection of cheeses and dairy products -- also featured some korean and japanese items and a chocolate fountain that made no sense to have for breakfast.

“Poor Service, below basic standards”

Hotel bed was horrible, restaurant wait staff rolls there eyes at the most basic requests. Novotel needs to retrain their staff. Stayed at 6 Novotel hotels in Asia this year and this one will be the last. No more Novotel ever again.
