Very nice hotel, with a boutique feel. The property is in the main square next to the church and is very unusual. Very welcoming and everything was perfect during my stay!
Our stay in Schwaibish Hall was spectacular! We loved the character and German authenticity of this town, the hospitality of its people, and our accommodations at this lovely inn were top-notch. I know we chose the right place to stay! Auf Wiedersehen!
This is a quaint hotel in a perfect location of Schwabisch Hall. The room was small but I am use to that traveling in Europe. Unfortunately I came during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning and no fan. The bathroom was small but again I am aware some of the Europian bathrooms can be quite small. The lunch menu was very good upon my arrival and the wait staff was very helpful speaking English. This hotel does not have an elevator which can make it Diogo carry your luggage up 3 flights of steps. If you want a quiter room ask for one in the back or you will hear the church bells out front. Better yet get ear plugs.
Great ambiance, cool German village! Staff was great, dinner great, breakfast good -
No complaints. Rooms were spacious with character. Love the wake up Bell at 6:30 - I could feel in my chest - loved it!
Great location right in the center of the city. Our room was very cool, it's an historic building with not a straight wall or ceiling. The bathroom for room 102 was super small with no door so when you take a shower, don't expect privacy! Be aware that the church bells start at 6:30 am and its loud!!!!!!!!!!!!
great breakfast and staff is super friendly.
Located right on the main square this is a great hotel for a short stay. We were able to park, for free, in the access road to the square and we could see the car from our room. The hotel is quite traditional and all the staff spoke excellent English. Our room was not large but quite adequate for a two night stay although the lack of a door on the shower room might have been a problem for some. The toilet was separate. The drawback with overlooking the wonderful church in the square was the bell ringing at 6.30 am. Breakfast was buffet style with a range of cooked options, and lots of bread, meat and cheese. We ate in the restaurant one night which was good.
The hotel is ideally located right in the center of town. We loved the historic look and feel of the place. Parking was a bit of a challenge because there are no reserved spots.
This is a charming hotel in the middle of a beautiful town. We loved the location except for one thing. It is located on the town square ( wonderfully central and architecturally delightful ) but right beside the church whose bells start chiming at 06:00. Not ideal after a tiring day's driving and especially since there were full volume rehearsals for July's theatrical productions on the church steps till 23:00! No air con in the bedroom so the window had to be left open. The Saturday market set up from 05:30 in the square. They try to keep it quiet but I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The shower room was bijou with no door to the bedroom but the toilet was separate. Breakfast was average but the room rate was not expensive, especially by British hotel prices.
All in all, it is a lovely old hotel and the staff were very pleasant.
Wonderful centuries old hotel on the Market Square
No, all the corners aren't square and the floors aren't perfectly level, but the hotel is totally modern without losing its appeal. There are no elevators, so if one is disabled, be aware of that. They will take your luggage up the stairs for you. I would stay here again, for sure.
Great hotel, nice town. Try to book room 103. This room has the best view of the "Freilichtspiele". Bathroom clean but very small. Beds clean. Breakfast was good. Coffee not. Parking next to hotel will cost you 6 EUR.
Tolles Haus, nettes Personal, historisches Ambiente.
- Bad/WC sehr klein
