We chose the property for the castle look. When we arrived we found a very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fantastic and highly recommend it. It is so close to many restaurant options. Lots of places to sit and just enjoy right outside the hotel. If there is one negative, it is inability to park on site. The Parking isn’t far though and quickly forgotten once settled into your room. We stayed here by chance and scrolling but very happy we did!

As the property as no reception desk it was difficult to actually gain entrance and the parking was not well explained. They need to do a better job explaining how to get in the hotel. The lift was broken. Staff was very kind and helpful but the breakfast reminded us a bit of airline food. The coffee was cold. The location is good in the center of the town.

Very good hotel.
The hotel is very good. Clean and quiet, Access through code sent by email is very good especially when you arrive late. Hotel does not have a parking! The parking next to hotel requires a blue permit. There are two free parking 100m from hotel next to a school and a bigger one 200m away.

Convenient hotel, clean, good shower, friendly staff. Only parking was a bit difficult to find a (longterm) spot as the hotel lays in the city centre of Schagen.

Excellent Hotel in very good central town location
I have stayed a number of times at this hotel since May and each visit has been very good with the room and hotel very clean and very well located to local amenities, including good restaurants and bars. One note that you need to be wary of parking in the main town square due to various restrictions relating to local activities and mid week market.

Excellent Hotel in a lovely rural town
An excellent choice of hotel especially when on business as there is an electronic 24hrs key service so it does not matter what time you arrive to check in. Overall a very good hotel in a lovely rural town that provides a good selection of places to eat & drink

Pls don’t pick this hotel if u expect u can have hotel normal service. They are digital hotel with no reception, no housekeeping from 1pm to other day morning. U they don’t expect u need a glass, or a fork and they won’t provide them in the room. To their suggestion, as a digital hotel, I think u should let your customer get those they need in a digital way, say self service counter for necessary. I didn’t get the digital key email before my check in. Lucky that I arrived a bit early before 2pm and surprisingly they still have staff there, ( as they claimed they will only have staff there before 2pm) . If not I don’t know how I can check in. ( I already called them to sent me but they still sent to wrong email address and the tel provided by Expedia is wrong. ) So please consider if u want a digital hotel which only digitized on their hotel key but not other service.

Wat een prachtige plek, midden in het centrum van Schagen. Na wat puzzelen om in te checken (jammer dat de beloofde gastvrouw niet aanwezig was) was het welkom op de kamer warm en persoonlijk met een handgeschreven kaartje met paaslekkers. Prima kamer. Stil en comfortabel. Kers op de taart was het ontbijt. In de prachtige slotzaal. Vers en aan tafel geserveerd. Wat een rust zonder al dat buffet- geloop. Echt een dikke plus voor ons.

Het was even wennen met dit systeem. Je kan alleen met je tel de deur open doen van buiten naar binnen en andersom. Ik miste wel de receptie (telefonisch wel goed bereikbaar). Enige wat ik jammer vond is dat je met de zware tassen toch een eindje moest lopen naar hotel omdat parkeerplaats ernaast vol was. Vriendelijke gastvrouw tegengekomen bij vertrek. Wij hadden voor geen ontbijt gekozen. Misschien de volgende keer wel. Kamers waren netjes en schoon en het bed lag heerlijk.

Een erg mooie locatie. Kleinschalig hotel. Op steenworp afstand van winkels en eetgelegenheden. De kamer was top. Keurig netjes. Digitale sleutel wekte prima.

Rustig hotel met prima kamer en ontbijt. Digitale sleutel, dus geen receptie of receptionist. WiFi was slecht, gelukkig hadden we onze eigen 5G.
