It is an authentic and historical place on the river. Erkin, Anita, Muberra and other staffs are very kind and helpful. Beautiful people and beautiful place to visit.

Great Location and Amazing View
Beautiful location and a short walk from the old town. The room we got was clean and spacious for four. There was a tree growing through the room and the architect planned the room so they can save the ancient tree. The trunk was inside the room with a few green leaves but the canopy was outside giving the room a shade. Nice balcony that opened onto the river with great views. Breakfast was free but limited. I took my family our from breakfast as there were many local places to eat and at a very reasonable price.

What we like the most was the staff. They where friendly, joyful and help us all our stay. Only issue was the WiFi connection, that didn’t work properly

Great Value for the Money
While the Pansion River looks a little rough on the outside, it is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. My room was small, but perfect for what I needed. It was in great condition and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Instead of a buffet, you order off the menu. The location is just a few minute walk from old town Sarajevo. I was able to walk all around the major attractions in the city. I got an incredible value for what I paid.

Great position, super-friendly staff
The hotel is perfectly situated for the old city part of Sarajevo. The receptionist Muby is extremely helpful, and pointed us to things we'd never have found/travelled to otherwise.Some rooms described as having 'no window' are internal with a skylight, but are brand new. Your car is secured over the road. Breakfast will keep you going for hours!

The staff, the proximity to old town and picturesque setting were wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful, yet marginal and the hot water in the shower was sparse.

Nice rooms, warm staff, decent location
We stayed in room 109 which was renovated in the last 6 months - beautiful bathroom, comfortable bedroom, nice patio overlooking the river. The view is not quite as nice as the pictures suggest as the hotel is primarily oriented down the river toward the old town but with a view of a gas station on the right hand side of the road first and foremost. Still you do see the river and the rooms are situated right on top of it which is a nice feature. The hotel is quiet, sometimes a little too quiet and it can be difficult to find staff to help with check-in or questions. That said, once you do find them, they are excellent - helpful with all questions, accommodating, make you feel like family (and it is a family run place - the father runs the upstairs restaurant and the kids run the hotel). The old town is a short walk away, feels generally safe, so a really good option for the price if you don’t want to stay in the old town itself (e.g. Hotel Europe). Would highly recommend a walking tour and Fall of Yugoslavia tour with Meet Bosnia when you are there. Information is available at the front desk of the hotel. We would stay here again.

Lovely
Hotel is great by the river and very close to the old town. I would recommend to stay in bigger room as one I had junior single use is too small. The other things need to be improved is WiFi as it is way tooooo slow. It does not connect well or does not work. Other then that everything is great and pleasant. They do have airport pick up and drop off

Mystic River of Sarajevo!
The winter idyll was amazing in this lovely and warm family run boutique hotel that is perfectly located in Sarajevo old town center. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and mystical river that runs right next to it! We enjoyed our stay here, and loved everything about it, friendly and welcoming staff, good breakfast in the restaurant, comfortable and clean room, terrace above the river with magnificent views, superb location...We will definitely come here again, and we warmly recommend this unique place to everyone who wants to feel Sarajevo spirit!

We ran into some serious issues and Nesh at the hotel was over the top helpful. We will never forget the help he gave us, especially due to the language barrier. If you need anything, he will help you out as his heart is behind everything he does.

Wonderful stay and wonderful hosts
We booked with Pansion River and were upgraded to their adjoining hotel, Hotel Bentbasa. Ermin from Pansion River and his cousin Haris from Hotel Bentbasa went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The room was lovely, and we enjoyed the restaurant right over the river. Old town Sarajevo was a short walk away. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Ermin and Haris for a wonderful stay in Sarajevo!

Spacious room with nice balcony and great location
We were really happy with the stay - great location close to the old town. Very spacious room with a huge tree growing up through the floor and continuing through the ceiling - so awesome. Nice private balcony. Not meticulously clean in all corners, but the important things (bed sheets, bathroom, etc.) were spotless. Would gladly stay there again :)

Bra läge precis vid gamla stan. Fina mysigt inredda rum med balkong ut mod floden. Rent och med bra badrum. Men framförallt en jättetrevlig personal som gav bra information och som fixade lunchpaket när vi skulle iväg tidigt till Mostar. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende.

The room was very big and more than enough for me.Aldo location of the hotel is very nice and it is closer to city hall,center of city. I have to add one thing that owner and reception staff were very friendly and charning. They gave me many supports,suggestions!

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal pour une visite à pieds car il est à proximité de la vieille ville .. Chambre propre et confortable (avec terrasse) avec une belle vue sur la rivière. Le Personnel est attentionné et tres sympathique.

Svært fint opphold!
Svært flott opphold! Hotellet har enkel standard, men det er rent og pent og i et rolig område, bare 10 min til fots til gamlebyen og latinerbroen. Flott terrasse/balkong ut mot elven. Strålende frokost inklusive. Wi-Fi var meget bra både på rommet og i fellesområder. Stort og praktisk bad, og meget romslig rom. Svært godt opphold, - her kommer vi garantert tilbake.

Schöne Pension in sehr guter Lage
Der Check-in ging sehr schnell und uns wurden gleich ein paar Informationen über Sarajevo mitgegeben. Das Zimmer mit Flußblick war für 2 Leute recht klein, aber für einen Kurzurlaub völlig geeignet. Leider gab es nur sehr begrenzten Stauraum, sodass die Koffer nicht ausgepackt werden konnten. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut, das Frühstück zwar ausreichend, allerdings ein wenig lieblos. Fazit: Für einen Kurzurlaub absolut zu empfehlen. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt sollte man eher ein großes Zimmer wählen.

Otele giriş yaptığımız gün resepsiyonda birini gördük birde çıkacağımız gün onun haricinden kimse yoktu. Otelde galiba sadece biz vardık :) 107 ve 108 nolu odalardan kaldık modem çok yakın olmasına rağmen internet çok az çekiyordu. Banyolarda çok az kirli gibiydi. Arkadaşımızın odasının tavanında öldürülmüş sivri sinekler duruyordu.otelin konumu bence gayet iyi. Cityhall in hemen orada sebile yürümesi 5 dakika.

We forgot to mention that you did not pay transport from the Aiirport to our staff, you probably forgot, but it is ok, since you stayed 5 nights, we will not charge it now. Great location. 10min walk from center old town.
Very old towels in bathroom. Smelly shits & pillows. Mold in shower cabine (economy room). No air condition. No mini bar. Rooms don't get tidy or cleaned automatically if you staying longer. Noisy building. No fresh fruit @ breakfast.

Dear Sir or Madame, Thank you very much for your feedback, it is much appreciated. However, we must say that towels in the room were not old (not possible), and they were fresh and clean, which is the most important. Ofcourse there was no air condition in the room and no mini bar, since you reserved BUDGET ROOM with NO windows in the groundfloor (as advertised) for very low price. As for the cleaning, you had a "card" hanging on the door in your room with notice "Please clean up the room or do not disturb", that you never used, so no one entered the room from our staff to clean it. Hope to see you again some other time, when you decide to reserve one of the regular rooms (not budget) with terraces above the river, we are sure that you will enjoy it more. Best regards. Ermin
