It is a hotel that exceeded my expectations. Good value for the cost per night. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea. The breakfast buffet is excellent, including smoked salmon and proccuito, a wide variety of cheeses, meats, salads, fruits, cereals, mangú and eggs prepared to order.

My advice would be to get a Ocean View in a one of Premium Rooms or Suites. The view is amazing. The happiest people seem be the house keeping staff. They are very attentive. Its a beautiful Hotel overall. The breakfast package is a good thing to add when you are booking your stay. My only issue would be with most of the staff. They seem angry (it could because of the hard work and little wages but who knows). Also you may want to eat out at the National District area. Its a tourist area but you will be surprised on how inexpensive the restaurants are in that area. The restaurants at the Hotel are to expensive and the food isn't worth it.

I agree with other recent reviews... This hotel is outdated and overpriced for the quality of room that you receive. They have updated the pool but seem to be trying to recoup all of the costs with the pricing of the food and drink more expensive than you should be paying in the Dominican Republic, it shouldn't be Miami prices
