CHRISTMAS
The house was our base of operations for our Christmas visit to Sandusky. The house had everything we needed while we were there and it was perfectly located for us to quickly get back and forth to our family's home. This was our third stay. The weather cooperated this year. Sandusky was home for my wife and I when we were kids so its' always good to get back for a visit with all the friends and family who still live there.

I would stay there again
Beautiful property right on the lake Erie shore. It has a large wide open area including the kitchen, a dining area that includes two tables to entertain large groups, and an adjacent open space living room area all overlooking a beautiful view of the lake. Check in and check out were easy. I would stay there again.

Weekend Getaway
The house was amazing, had an issue with the outside but Robert handled it. This is my second time staying here, it's becoming a yearly tradition with the family. Will be back next year for sure.

Annual family gathering
Beautiful location. House slept fewer people than we expected. At least comfortably slept. The bunk bed wasn’t ideal as it is high and no barrier to prevent falling. The game room was great but the chairs aren’t really ideal beds. TV’s we’re very difficult to use and several never did work. There was early construction next door which was bothersome. Owner was pleasant and nice to work with. House is cool and guest house was great.

Wonderful Week with Family
This house had everything we needed for a great, relaxing week with multigenerational family vacation. The living/dining area had plenty of room for us all to relax and the kids loved the hammock, the outdoor space and the game room. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to make whatever we dreamed up. Absolutely beautiful views and a nice little beach area on across the road.

Beautiful home on the bay with access beach on Lake Erie. We enjoyed it all !! Abundance of kitchen, laundry, bathroom accessories and beds for our family of 17. Water toys, fire ring, separate game room and sleeping quarters. Everything we could want and more. Very nice owner.

Family reunion fun at the Lake House
Beautiful custom home with lovely views and lots of available activities. The home is very comfortable and comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay - fully equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, water toys, game room, and plenty of outdoor area to relax. Unfortunately we were there during mayfly season but while they were abundant they don’t bite and we still did plenty of outdoor fun things. The water was a bit high across the street to use the little beachy area so we ended up driving to a nearby beach for our beach days. Overall we really enjoyed the Lake House and really recommend it!

We so enjoyed staying at the lake house. I was so impressed by how well it was stocked. The rooms were all very comfortable.My grandchildren enjoyed the game room and fishing off of the deck. Its proximity to Cedar Point was great.The only problem was the muffle heads. They were vert annoying. I forgot that they appear this time of the week. Next time was will book later in June.

Perfect vacation home!
Gorgeous property inside and out! The Lake House has thought of everything ! Lush bedrooms, upscale bathrooms, a fully( and i mean fully) stocked kitchen, outdoor areas that will delight young and old alike, watercraft to play with, and an amazing game room! We made wonderful family memories at The Lake House while exploring Sandusky and celebrating my nephew's graduation. We will definitely be back!

I took several of my associates, and their spouses, to the Lake House. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and so unique. The proprty grounds and views are also amazing. The owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the process. I would highly recommend, and I plan to be back.

Perfect place for our family!
We were in town for our sons wedding at the Sandusky yacht club and chose this house because it accommodated a large group. It’s a lovely place, beautifully equipped, everything we could possibly need. The game room was a huge extra bonus hit. It was absolutely perfect.

We’ve been lucky to stay at the Lakehouse multiple summers. Always perfectly stocked for our group. The teens love the game room and the boats for the bay. The kitchen is well stocked. And of course we are in an out of the park all week. A great visit start to finish (at the Waffle cafe)!!!

Lake house is great house. We had 16 people staying there. House location is fantastic.
Check in was easy. We had 4 families, 16 people total staying. House was clean and well kept. Sleeping arrangements can get difficult with the number of people we came with but we made it work. The boat ramp and the dock are nice but there is too much grass around them making them difficult to utilize. House location is great. Close to attractions and shopping. Overall a great rental.

We had a group of 17 stay at the Lakehouse in July. The property is a short drive from Cedar Point and downtown Sandusky. Lots of great opportunities for the family to have fun. Property was well kept and in a wonderful neighborhood. We had a fantastic time.

This home had great decor and was very clean, the location is ideal, and the owner was readily available. The only disappointment was that at the dock the water level was low and there was a lot of seaweed (not the fault of the owner), which was not good for our boat. As a plus, We enjoyed going across the street to the beach. Overall this is a great rental.

We had a great time at The Lake House with our children and grandchildren. Robert was extremely responsive and the house was very interesting, unique and had plenty of room. The location was perfect and there was plenty of beach for the week across the road.

Bachelorette party
I just wanted to thank Robert and his wife to allow us to stay at their house. It was just beautiful inside and out. We had a house full of women for my daughters bachelorette party and it turned out wonderful. Plenty of enough room and amenities. Even though I brought all this extra stuff I didn’t need anything. We had a wonderful time here, the sunsets are amazing, so much fun to be had outside, true lakeside living! The only things I wish I would have known were 1) the guest house is closed which means an entire bed is out of commission and 2) it’s very bright during the day which is wonderful, but it would have been nice to be able to pull the curtains shut for my triplets’ naps. But overall, super positive experience!

The Lake House was perfect for our family of 15. The location, amenities, and the house exceeded our expectations. The family enjoyed boating, fishing and the close proximity to Cedar Point and other local attractions. Loved this house
No one in our group wanted to leave. Having the game room seperate from the main house was EVERYTHING!! our 1 year old ran around the 1st floor each night. The central vaccum system was clutch for the flies that got in the house. When we come back to the area in the summer i am going to be asking the hosts of they have that. Ran out of paper towels after day 1 bring extra, also hot tub in masterbedroom had some black mildew or mold so we couldnt enjoy that. Laundry room in master bedroom is inconvenient. The house shares a driveway with another house was being renovated the could be an issue in the future.

Small family get together
All guests said "we'd definitely like to come back". Kids loved the separate garage converted to game room. I think we saw at least one of every bird spieces in Ohio including bald eagles! Caught several fish while taking in great sunsets. Loved the rustic decor, with my favorite being the bar made from a recycled wooden swim platform from the back of a boat. Very nice place and more than we expected! Great blend of modern conveniences with rustic nautical theme.
