Parking lot flooded, no hot tub as advertised. Breakfast was cold. They sent us to courtyard Marriott to use their hot tub and I could fart more bubbles than that thing put out.

Room was clean but the window curtain had tacks holding the room darkening pieces in place. Suite utensils and kitchen was nice and clean. Quiet as well.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE BUSINESS
had a problem with this place from the day I booked online. Default was to automatically click the button for nonrefundable. even though I clicked pay later I was stuck with nonrefundable. Ok. wasn't planning on canceling anyways. Then the real problem...we were bringing our dog. I saw that there was a fee but couldn't find how much. We found it and it was $100 a night!!! WHOA!!! Usually this fee is $25-$35 a night. Then I get an email saying it's $150 a night!! Tried calling and talking directly to hotel...got a desk clerk who double talked us. Couldn't tell us when the manager would be there nor offered for them to call us. At that point we figured we'd handle at the hotel. Arrival at the hotel....we got there around check in. We were told they were completely filled and had to stay at their sister hotel... additionally they were booked since the spring - we booked maybe three weeks prior, had actual conversations and emails back and forth and weren't told this at all... they hid this fact from us. We were sent a few miles down the road to Courtyard. The staff was extremely warm and helpful..we were told our reservation was "Walked" over which meant, we were told, Residence Inn would cover all our expenses since we were being sent there... The room was not equal to the Residence Inn one we booked. There was no kitchen. This is no way for a company to do business. What a way to start a two week vacation celebrating our 45th anniversary…

Thank you for your review. I do apologize that your stay was so unsatisfying. I feel that the information about the pet fee was incorrect. It is listed on our website as a one time pet fee of 150.00, not per day. I hope that in the future your stays will be more satisfying.

Spacious and comfortable room. There was a spot of ketchup on the floor from previous tenants that wasn't cleaned up and it got on our suitcases, and we had to get our key cards replaced a couple of times since they stopped working. But otherwise everything was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great one bedroom suite for our family to stay overnight on a road trip from NY to NC. We were able to put our son down for bed and comfortably enjoy ourselves in the living area. It would have been nice for the pool to be open so we could swim after a long drive but we stretched our legs out anyway!

I ARRIVED AND WAS TOLD THE ROOM HAD WATER DAMAGE AND WAS MOVED TO A LESS ACCOMODATING MOTEL , BUT WAS STILL CHARGED THE ORIGINAL PRICE!!!!!! AND THE MOTEL THEY MOVED ME AND MY FAMILY TO WAS NOT GOOD !!!

Bring your fan with you because the air doesnt work. Limited towels, shower curtain had mildew. Floor was dirty. The lobby looks cozy but as soon as you walk into your hotel room the atmosphere changes quickly!

If you like hearing dogs barking constantly while you’re in your room, then this is the place for you. Pet friendly should mean pet owners get their own floor. Rooms need renovating, dishwasher didn’t work, water stains were on the ceiling and carpet torn. Not what we expected given the room rate we paid of $500/night.

When I first got their to check-in, the lady at the desk got my name and phone number and was saying that my room was canceled. It didn’t make sense, so I was checking my Expedia app realizing that I didn’t see anything saying my room was canceled. She was coming off extremely aggressive, because I was telling her it didn’t seem right. I tell her I know it wasn’t her fault, but I needed a room. She tells me I might have to call another hotel. As I get ready to call Expedia to see what is going on, she says that my room reactivated on the computer. Mind you, this was my first time at this hotel and I never got a message at all saying that my room was canceled, which I never canceled it. After that experience, I won’t be returning.

We had a studio king and needed the pullout couch for our two kids to sleep on. There were no pillows or sheets available. We went to the desk three times. Finally a young man was able to get some bedding for the kids. Then although the thermostat was set to 72, the AC never turned off and by morning it was 60 degrees in the room. The breakfast was nice that they offered but the food was not good. Thank goodness we were only there one night. We will be finding another hotel in the area for next year.

A great first experience at a Residence Inn
This was our first experience at a Residence Inn by Marriot and it exceeded all of our expectations. Check-in took little more than a minute, our room was very nicely and comfortably furnished and had a “new” look and feel about it. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best my wife and I have ever had in any hotel chain. Finally, I cannot say enough about the friendly and professional staff. Everyone we met from the front desk staff to the people working in the breakfast area were absolutely great.

his hotel is in need of renovations
The staff was nice and courteous and doing the best they can with their property that is in need of a major renovation. I am really starting to feel that when you get a room thru a third party that you will not get the best room. I was first put in a room with no AC. There were 2 fans already in the room. This was a sign that they knew the room did not have AC. I was quickly put in another room after calling the front desk. The mattresses need to be replaced and broken furniture throughout.
