“Not Too Impressed”

The staff was very disorganized and was still cleaning a lot of the rooms when we checked in at 5:30. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but the room was clean.

“Not Impressed”

We go to Rochester every year for a family reunion and this year I thought I'd pick a different hotel. Our floor was a non-smoking floor but I suspect that at one time it was smoking, our room smelled of smoke masked w/ febreeze. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very small. The last night we were there we went for a swim in the pool but the chemicals were so strong our eyes were watering. While the staff was very polite and welcoming, the facilities were not at all what I expected. Next year were going back to our normal hotel closer to town.

“Okay for price”

Nice staff....Nice breakfast.....hotel is 15 years old and is in need of some remodeling that I believe is happening.....Room was not vacuumed and tv's are outdated...cable reception was poor....router is not strong enough for all tv's to receive strong signal......

“MY THOUGHTS ABOUT OUR STAY IN ROCHESTER”

The first night we were put in a room that was on the freeway. Did not sleep well, noise all night till midnight, and started again at 4 AM. Mostly that is what I am paying for a hotel for is too sleep and feel that I did not get what I paid for the 1st night. I think a hotel should ask if you if you need a quiet location and not just ASSUME things. The hotel could have been better insulated so thay would not have that problem. The did serve a fabulous breakfast.

“Very Poor Customer Service”

I was in the area to see a show and instead of driving all the way home I decided to get a hotel room. I chose this one specifically because of the wireless internet as I'm in school and would have homework to do while there. When I got to the hotel my room wasn't ready and I had to wait, worse when I got into the room and set up my laptop, there was no internet service! During the whole time I was waiting no one said a word to me about the internet being down. Because of the area, the show, and my financial situation I couldn't afford to find another hotel. The staff didn't seem to care at all and never tried to do anything to make ammends. I realize they have no control over it but they could have tried. Also I picked the larger, more expensive, king bed suit becuase that was the room designated with internet service, only to find out when I got there ALL the rooms had access to the internet. What a waste of money. I personally will never use this brand again and neither will my guest who was with me.
