It's an older hotel that has not kept up with maintenance. A bit of plaster on the corner outside my door had crumbled onto the floor & not been repaired or even vacuumed up. The men in the next room were nice enough but the walls & connecting door are paper thin. It felt like we were in the same room. They tried to be quiet, but they were drinking got louder. They quieted around 2:00 a.m. I tried calling the front desk several times but no one answered. As for the room itself; the upholstered chair looked like a cat had clawed it and something had been spilled on the side and never cleaned. Some background information is necessary for you to understand why this next thing was such a problem for me. I'm disabled & must use a walker. I reserved an "accessible" room. It failed at that. The "bedside" lamp was so far away from the bed that I had to get up & walk over to turn it off. Getting up & walking are very difficult for me, especially in the dark. I tripped a couple of times, but I have no feeling in my legs & feet, so I didn't realize what was happening. In the morning I stumbled on something again and saw it was a sharp piece of loose tile that was sticking out of the floor. Because I can't feel it, I didn't realize I was hurt until I saw blood running into the shower drain. I have several cuts on my foot requiring sterilization & bandages. In my condition this is dangerous. The desk clerk gave me a business card & said to call the manager tomorrow. She couldn't help me.
