“You can't help but relax”

We loved the resort and the experience. We are somewhat discriminating in our taste and look for high quality facilities, service and food. We tend to prefer a relaxed vacation of reading books, strolls on the beach, spa visits and fine cuisine. We did use the gym facilities daily and it was well maintained and has high quality equipment. If you prefer a more active vacation there seems to be quite a bit for you to do. For a relaxing high quality experience this resort can't be beat.

“BIG Fans of the Secrets Resorts...”

My Wife and I have been to Secrets Capri twice. We were so happy with our experience there that we were reluctant to try anything new. However, when we found Secrets Maroma we were certain it had to be good given that it is part of the Secrets chain. And...it was GREAT!! I highly recommend both of these hotels! Maroma's edge over Capri is the beach (outstanding), multiple pool options, great food and not as crowded. Capri's edge is a bigger party like atmoshpere. You will not be disappointed with Maroma by any means. We are actually rather bummed out to be back home and are trying to figure out a way to get back inside of a year. Say hello to Erika (poolside waitress) as she is AWESOME! Have fun, we are jealous!

“Secrets Maroma”

Incredible beach, service, pool, and room was georgous. The room was upscale and cleaned daily. The food was delicious and the staff was always smiling. The pool had games and if would like top self just request and they wil make anything you want. The steak is very good along with the seafood. It was such relaxing time. The beach is one of the most beautiful and since there is a reef there is seawood. The room has bug repellent and were taking care of the mosquito issue which was gone by our second day.

“An All-Inclusive Couples Paradise”

We just returned yesterday and I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends. It is definitely geared towards couples and honeymooners. Not one complaint. It was fabulous. The beach is clean, drinks are flowing and waiters/waitresses are always around (always ask for premium liquor otherwise you are getting well), the staff is super friendly and the restaurants for dinner are FABULOUS. It's very nice not to have to make reservations at the restaurants (except if you want to sit at a hibachi table). The longest wait we had for any restaurant was 15 minutes. Some people complained about the food at the buffets, but honestly there is so much to choose from that it didn't matter. If you don't like it, don't eat it. Just go back up and get something else. There was plenty of GREAT food to choose from at them too. One note...DO NOT be freaked out by the crappy dirt road entrance up to the hotel, it's beautiful once you pass it :)

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, honeymoons, or just time away. Didn't want to leave, tried to stay extra days.

“Wonderful”

This hotel was beautiful and the staff was so friendly. Some of the food was not that impressive but that can be expected at a resort. Would rate the food a 4 because of a good pool side grill and breakfast buffet. Would absolutely stay again.

“I cant wait to go back”

I took my girlfrien there for her 40th birthday, from the time we arrived we know we would like this place, the staff was great the were available when ever you need them and the rooms were cleaned twice a day, the food was great but in small portions which didnt matter because you can just order again if your still hungry, ask for Primeum liquir by name

“Best beach ever!”

The beach at Secrets Maroma is the best I have seen in Mexico. The service at the beach and around the pool was also wonderful. Our room was beautiful, but the air didn't work very well. They were great about sending someone to work on it very quickly. When they couldn't fix it to our satisfaction (we like it pretty cool), we were upgraded to a better room. The food at the buffet at breakfast and around the pool at lunch was excellent. Dinner was not as good but not awful either. We would definitely return.

“Awesome Anniversary Trip!”

We decided on Secrets Maroma because of all of the great reviews that we read about, so I figured I should write a review as well. The beach was AMAZING. It was pretty windy when we were there (9/19-9/26) so we were not able to participate in any of the water sports that came with the all inclusive package, but we still swam and enjoyed the crystal blue water that way. The pool was great....not very big so if you didn't get down to the pool before 10am you most likely couldn't find chairs around the pool. You need to get down there by 9am to get a blue raft which are nice to have since it was in the 90's everyday! The food was pretty good. Definitley better than we expected. The Asian Restaurant was the best by far. We did room service (since you can order whatever you want at anytime of the day) and the club sandwich and breakfast were the best meals we had. Breakfast buffet was good too with tons of options. The entertainment was pretty good. Alex kept the party going at all times. Not sure how that guy does it! If you like to party and like the Vegas show scene, I highly recommend going with the staff to the night out at Coco Bongo. The shows were amazing! definitley worth it!! The staff was great. Always so nice and helpful. didn't meet one person that didn't have a smile on their face and willing to help. they are all working hard all day long and not one has a bad attitude......very nice!!

“5-star Service!!”

the whole experience was amazing, the people, the food, the organization, the kind of service you would expect from a 5 star resort. I'm planning on making this an every year trip. It's a 18 and up resort, so you shouldnt expect the crazy party resort you would if you go to cancun or other resorts. the majority of the people were couples celebrating something or entire families. it was quite, relaxing, and just the gateway people need from their day-to-day lives. HIGHLY recommended!
