“Totally worth it”
Really nice price-quality rate, if you want to visit Rio, but don't want to expend a lot of money in a hotel you will hardly see, but also want a hygenic and confortable hotel, this is it. NICE LOCATION, just a block from Copacaban beach, the center of all, cosy rooms, clean, friendly staff, and good breakfast, nera restaurants and the beach. The only recommendation is not to pay for a Superior room, theres really no difference between regular an superior, theres no view in neither of them.

3 friends and I spent 8 nights at the Martinique over New Years 2006 and had a great time. The staff is profesional, courteous and friendly. While the rooms are on the small side, they have comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms and all the amenities you'd expect from a quality hotel. There is a very small pool on the roof with 6 or so tables and a bar. The hotel is about 100 yards from Copacabana beach and Ave Atlantica on a realativly quiet side street in a safe neighborhood. The hotel's proximity to Impanema place it in a very central location. This place is cool.

“NICE HOTEL”
Very nice hotel serving a very nice breakfast buffet, location was excellent near the south end of the beach 1 block away from beach. pool is very small though. A nice place for couples, rooms are small. we got a triple room and it was great. FYI- If you are travelliing single and meet somebody, the hotel staff will not allow you to bring an unregistered guest into the hotel.

Stayed there for a few days, the staff are nice! especially the ones in the restaurant. Every thing is ok in the room and it's comfortable. One of the nicest one that I have been.

“Small jewel in Copacabana !”
I wasn't expecting much but upon arrival I was completely surprised by the quality of service and overall condition of the hotel. This definitely is a small jewel in the Copacabana area. First of all the hotel has a great location, everything was neatly decorated and clean, breakfast was great and you could find smiles and excellent service everywhere. Though rooms may be considered small, they are very cozy, neat and clean and you get anything you may need for a room, such as internet access, A/C, safe, etc. I am a well seasoned traveler and I have to say that I was extremely satisfied with this property and would definitely recommend the hotel, they are doing a great job.
“Good Hotel at Copacabana, off Ave Atlantica (the beach)”
This Hotel is just off the Ave Atlantica, the Copacabana beach, and offers a decent location toward the beach and the city toward Ipanema (in walking distance, if inclined). Service and staff are friendly, 24 hrs/day, room service if needed, internet included, good showers, beach towels, tips for where to eat/go out, english speaking, large breakfast until half past ten. While the Hotel is two blocks aways from the entrance to one of Rio's Favelas, this did not disturb in any way, but offered a chance not to have these conditions unnoted (which they shouldn't). So, cost/service relation is very good. Can recommend it.
