Decent hotel for the money
Decent hotel for the money, location is close to the airport and close to public transport that takes 20min to get into city centre. Rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. Decent bathroom too!

Great hotel, conveniently located close to airport (assuming you have a car); they also have an airport shuttle. The rate was very affordable and the hotel is relatively more comfortable than what typical european hotels of similar category are.

An affordable hotel quite far from the city center
The hotel is good for its price -- clean and minimal. Noting in the room. No water boiler -- just two glasses for tap water. It's really a budget hotel so please do not expect anything at all more than that. I did not expect more than a budget hotel, so all my expectations were reached. Wi-fi dropped a lot during my stay. I got a free upgrade of room after 2 nights after the hotel discovered a problem in my room. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Riga Central Train Station by bus (about an hour on foot on a highway), but there are many buses and minibuses that go that direction, so it's quite convenient. Returning at night may be a bit difficult as there's no bus after midnight so a taxi app (Taxify since there's no Uber in Riga) should be readily downloaded on your phone. A normal cap is not easy to find.

Nice family hotel
We only stayed one night but it was convenient as we had a hire car, for parking, travel from air port, ease to get into ity, ease to pick up main route to our detination in east of country. We requested a room with 3 beds & website indicated 3rd bed may be a temporary one but it was a normal bed and room was big enough for all. Staff were friendly and it was easy to check in & out. Food in restaurant / bar was good. We have stayed here before and will do so again if we have very early return flight or v late arrival flight.

How this got its name best hotel is beyond me,
Open arrival there was building work going on out the front,which can understand most places at some point have to. Not very well signed as to were to go to get in. After check in we when to the room ,only to find it was very cold in there and had to go back to reception to get the heating put on. Beds very uncomfortable with on extra pillows or quilts during the cold weather. Very noisy hotel woken up both mornings with banging going on upstairs, walls are very thin. There was 2 beds in the room which only 1 was made back up on the Saturday. No clean towels left either. Very disappointed with the stay The one good thing with this hotel is the staff, very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.the location is further out of town than we originally thought,everything could be heard from the corridors and surrounding rooms and staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. We left this hotel after 1 night of our 4 night stay,definitely not a 3 star hotel.

Quiet clean place close to the city
The hotel is clean and comfortable, not glamorous. Staff are friendly and anxious to please. Buffet breakfast is perfectly adequate. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet. On a direct bus line to Old Riga, but also walkable for the more adventurous ( view of the city from the bridge is wonderful). restaurant is also very good.

Basic hotel with many advantages
The hotel is located about 3-4 km away from the center of Riga. However, it is easy to get to the center by public transportation. It has an ample parking. The breakfast offered is very good. The rooms are quite basic. The stuff is very friendly and welcoming.

Nice and quiet place. They have their own shuttle to the airport and city center (7.5-10 euros). The breakfast is pretty good. Recommended for a short stay.

The best hotel for such price
The best hotel for such price in Riga. Each cost every penny I've spent there. As price was only 60 dollars and I've stay only for one night (I was intended to catch m early morning flight) I was expected poor dark rooms and etc, I didn't care too much because it was looking for a place to sleep, something better that airport floor :) I was impressed this hotel. It was really good condition, nice, clean and It was really cozy place to stay, keeping in mind it only 10 minutes driving from airport.

Clean basic hotel, but lacks hospitality.
Attitude of staff is lacking in service, no one seemed to be particularly willing to go out of their way to help when help was requested. We returned very late one night, after midnight, to find bedding and towels on the floor, the room not made up. (We were told later that our room key should have been left at the front desk so they would know the room was available to be cleaned. That policy was not written anywhere we could find.) We wound up getting our own linens from linen closet we located on another floor. Shower drain did not drain well, but nothing was done about it even though we reported the problem. However, the hotel is a good value at its price, clean, breakfasts are full course, the location is good. If basic lack of hospitality is disregarded, it's a good place.

I have requested a non smoking room, however as soon as I entered the room I sensed the smell of cigarettes..carpet, curtains had a terrible smell. A window was opened but didn't help. I suspect a non-smoking room plate was placed in my room just for my stay because obviously someone did smoke there. Curtains were broken. TV was small. Walls are too thin- my neighbours were talking and lovemaking all night and I felt like they are next to me. Breakfast was too simple, not a good choice. If you need a cheap place where to sleep and you don't intent to spend too much at the hotel, then it's okay, otherwise I would not recommend.

Stopped at this hotel whilst making an overnight stop waiting for a connecting flight. Good value for money, clean, basic facilities but OK. Not to far from the airport just a few minutes drive. Fo hat I reqired it was fine.

Although this hotel is not in the centre of the city, the local transport is frequent and takes around 10 - 15 minutes to Riga Old Town. .The staff are helpful to guests, there is a small but excellent restaurant there, good choice of dishes, the food is very good, and prices are very fair. The bar is open from 16.00 until 23.00. The breakfast (included in room price) is buffet style and equally good. On the first night there were some fairly noisy guests in the next room, and the sound proofing is not so good. Considering the room prices, I have no complaints at all, and the only suggestion I can make for improvement is that the rooms should have provision for tea and coffee making. If you do not mind a short and cheap journey to the sights of Riga, this hotel is excellent value for money. They have their own taxi service, providing transport at most times, to and from the Riga nightlife. I have no hesitation in recommending the Best Hotel.

Near the airport, but not the tourist centre. A great place to stay for an overnight stop. The friendly staff made our late arrival and early departure as easy as possible. Coffee and take away sandwich was really appreciated.
