This property was under construction which was posted. However, since this is a Hilton property we expected that more of an effort would have been made for people willing to stay there. The poor review is no reflection on the staff but on the corporation. The sidewalks were muddy and slick. Some provision, like mats,would have made the sidewalk easier and safer to navigate with luggage. The cold breakfast left much to be desired. Hilton could have done a much better job by providing a catered breakfast while under construction. No provision for a hot drink like tea or chocolate was made for people who don’t drink coffee. There were two kinds of coffee provided with the meager cold breakfast and a pot of hot water could have easily been provided too along with tea bags & chocolate. Hilton had no problem charging their rate for the room but did nothing up to the standard of their name for accommodating their guests. We are Hilton Honors members and have stayed in many of their hotels but certainly didn’t get our money’s worth with this experience. We stayed in a Disney resort undergoing renovation and in comparing that experience with this one Hilton is a huge failure.

BEWARE!! I usually do not take the time to give bad reviews but this place more than deserves it. This Hampton hotel should not be open to the public at this time . After driving all day to get here we were greeted with an absolute disaster of a property. Hotel is all under construction. No front entrance ,limited dirt / mud covered parking with construction equipment debris , noise and unhealthy heavy dust everywhere, there is no lobby , no working phone system, no breakfast, no assistance finding another place to stay , they refused any cancellation refund , or price reduction . We were directed to use the hotel next door for parking or if we wanted breakfast ( which , of course was unavailable ) The two staff members who checked us in from a random room down a rambling corridor were sympathetic but said we should have known the condition of this place from the website . NONSENSE..other guests trying to check in confirmed there was no warning about construction and were also shocked that this property was allowed to be open to the public . All surrounding hotels were completely booked and we were too exhausted to keep driving. I’m a Hilton Honors member and have stayed at Hampton properties everywhere for business and pleasure for over 30 years and never encountered anything like this. Fortunately we booked through Expedia and after some discussions and confirmations of our situation, they provided refund assistance. Be safe and steer clear of this place !

We did not stay because of construction and very strong odor of paint which made staying impossible We had to book another facility. We were not warned and wouldn’t have booked this had we been warned Expedia insurance should be providing refund as per their written assurance and our extra payment

Wish I would of known it was in the middle of being renovated. First room still needs more work done. Then went to 2nd room. Before renting a room not finished but full price. I was very disappointed. Service at front desk was excellent.

Arrived at 6pm and my room was not ready. Desk clerk said they were short staff hence the delay. At my prompting she called the manager and was advised to give me another room. This was acceptable. However, I had trouble finding the ice bucket. A congenial staff member accompanied me to my room and showed me the location. I'm not sure it's a good idea to keep an operation going while doing major renovation. Since I am an early riser, the noise did not impact me. But it's not a good sign when there is a basket of ear plugs near the front desk.

They cancelled my guaranteed reservation - guaranteed with a credit card last week. Said they were overbooked. Never heard of this practice in my 40 years of traveling. Had to frantically find a room across town at 9pm after being on the road all day.

They were doing construction and it wasn't noted on website, (but that wasn't to big a deal) the problem was noisey and very loud guests, again it was beyond the staffs fault.

The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and even texted us when warm cookies were available. This property is undergoing an addition. I hope they renovate the older section, too as it really needs it. While the beds were very comfortable, the hotel itself needs love. The room was clean but shabby. I think they try hard. It's just an older hotel.

Well to start off I got a call that they double booked me and then they said they also rescheduled us a stop next door at holiday inn express so after driving 8 hours come to find out they did not so then they was full with no where to stay so we had to sleep in our van rental!!!! Really upset I would like to speak with corporate or a manager!!!!!

When you book at a Hampton Inn you expect better than a working zone. We had no soaps in the bathroom and only 1 towel for 2 adults!!!
