Very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff were very friendly. Not many of the staff spoke English but that appears to be the same all over Araraquara probably because it isn't a place suited to tourists.
I didn't try the evening meal there so can't comment but the breakfast was a typical continental with a good selection.
The only negative point if there is one is the fitness suite. It had a couple of running machines and a reclining bike and weights but they had probably seen better days.

This hotel is basic, but met all my needs. It's clean and located in a nice neighborhood. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, the mall, and the local bus station. For the most part, the staff doesn't speak English, and I'm not sure if they speak any other language, but they are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent, with good coffee. The only drawback is that I stayed in a standard room several weeks ago and a deluxe room more recently. I don't really see the difference between the two, other than that the latter was on a higher floor.
