“This was a pleasant surprise”

I have never stayed at a Wyndham hotel before and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised; the hotel was very nice and I will stay there again.

Area recommendations

I would typically advise fellow travelers to avoid downtown Regina but there are a couple of very nice hotels and restaurants there so my opinion is slowly changing.

“Great Location, perfect Room”

Great location right across the street from Casino Regina, right in downtown Regina. Excellent value for your dollar. When we checked in we had the option of $7/day to park outside or $12/day to park underground in secured parking. I chose the underground as I am familiar with the neighborhood. I recommend parking underground. Overall service was excellent, but the breakfast buffet service was terrible. The employee working didn't stay on top of things. Was messy and lots of items ran out all the time. But I recommend you stay there.

“A downtown surprise”

I recently stayed at the WINGATE and was quite pleasantly surprised. The room was larger than many others I have stayed in, well appointed and clean. The bathroom was larger than most, very clean with a shower area rather than a bathtub. The towels not frayed. Although I would have liked a restaurant on-site, the extensive breakfast offering included in the price of the room made up for it. Without doubt, we will stay at the Wingate next time.

“Clean and centrally located”

I quite enjoyed my stay, very comfortable, clean & good service. Also impessed with the fact that they mailed to me an earring that I left in the bathroom, for which I was most appreciative. I will most definitely stay there again in future.

“excellent hotel - staff not so much”

very new hotel, extremelly clean. both front counter staff were snotty and not at all helpfull. basic questions (like where is the general hospital) were answered with "the gas stations sell maps" still - we will return as its almost the same price as a super 8 but way nicer

“Good quality inexpensive hotel”

This is a great, updated hotel to stay at, it's comfortable, and provides easy access to anything in Regina. The breakfast is included and is not spectacular, but has lots of variety like fruit, yogurt, eggs, breads, and a "do it yourself" waffle station - enough to get you through the morning for sure! My only complaint is the slow elevators at the hotel, it feels like forever to wait for them and the ride is really slow, however, overall the experience was great!
