Loved the upgrade we received. Staff was great. Was convenient to everything. However, a couple of things on the downside. Orange slime in the corners in the shower, and under the wire shelves in the shower. Also, the hand towels/ washcloths hung in the front of the bathroom sink, kept falling on the floor each time i washed my hands. Cobwebs in the corners. All in all good stay, but all needs updating. Thank you

The price is ok for the day we stay for this high level hotel, but everything is slightly aging, it needs to be keeping good maintenance to match its brand name. Breakfast is relatively good compare to other hotels we stayed on that week.

Positives: Arrived late night ( 10 pm) a very nice young man at front desk greeted us and was fantastic. He was able to accommodate a last minute request for another room quite quickly with a pretty booked hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Great value. The reason for less stars…. And this will be the first “negative “ review I’ve ever posted but I think this can be a learning lesson hopefully. -breakfast only served until 9:30, and they PROMPTLY LOCK DOORS to all food (our bad we overslept and arrived at 9:36 due to long travel and time zone differences). I fully accept that I was 6 minutes late, however still a bit shocked that we were not allowed to grab ANYTHING not a bagel, muffin, piece of fruit, anything. Please keep in mind they had just started clearing the hot foods on the other side of kitchen so I would not have been in their way or disrupting a schedule. When I asked the staff if I could at least get a coffee, I was rudely pointed to the direction of the last pots out. Told if there is any left and that if there wasn’t cream there then they do not have any. There wasn’t, but they did have milk on the counter locked up. I knocked on the door and asked the gal if I could please have a little of that for my coffee if it wasn’t too much trouble- evidently it was. She reluctantly gave me some in a cup. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but it’s something to work on. The first time I have ever experienced anything like this at an hotel brea and I travel enough.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly. There were different breakfast items every day, and tasted better than expected. However, one of the beds was hard to sleep on due to being worn out and saggy.

The rooms were good size wise for a family. But it was dirty when we arrived with the previous occupants garbage in two places. The staff at “free breakfast” were rude and not helpful. The breakfast was awful and so limited. They didn’t even offer something as basic as toast. Coffee was out most days we went, cereal was out another day, oatmeal was out another day. When you ask a staff member if more food was coming they never knew! Not sure why they were working in the breakfast area if they didn’t know what food was available. All and all the worst breakfast I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Water slides were great, a bit of an odd set up with getting wristbands upstairs through another hotel but you figure it out.

Good hotel, would stay there again.
It is nice to have a separate bedroom and a TV in the front room and another in the bedroom. The hotel was nice and quiet which helps with sleeping.

Exhausted travel
It was an extremely relaxing stay. Wasnt disturbed by guests or staff before check out time which was surprising, but very much appreciated as we had a tiring 3 hour drive to Rapid City in dense fog. Beds were super comfortable and that made the stay worth every dime.

The hotel was nice however I called for my room to be cleaned twice and they never came then the front desk handed me a vacuum when we returned in the evening to find it had not been cleaned. It was horribly rude and unprofessional.

Having a kitchen on the hotel was amazing! Saved us so much money. Having to pay extra for the awesome water park was a surprise... We didn't realize it was a seperate thing until we got there. Overall it was a lovely stay and well worth the money.
